The exact same channel airing the exact same stuff? Typically... no. Countries outisde of the US for things like that tend to get newer stuff much, much later.

No. They're different channels owned by completely different companies. Granted, The Comedy Channel DOES broadcast a lot of Comedy Central content (South Park, The Daily Show, etc.) but it's really only because they both specialise in the same thing. They've also bought plenty of other shows made by other networks too (Scrubs, Whose Line, etc.). As far as Aussie cable goes, Futurama still currently airs on Fox 8, and given its recent success, I doubt they're going to be getting rid of it anytime soon.
