For those of you lucky people who have already snagged your copy of the Futurama DVDs, I was just wondering what you thought of the screens overall.

Welcome to PEEL, flickster. Enjoy it here.   :D

The season 1 DVD isn't released until monday the 28th. Some online shops, however has started to pack, and in very few instances to ship, the sets.

Check out ANSTATMAW, for screenshots, and a thorough review. The link:

Yeah, I know -- I've got mine on order ... I was just curious to see what other people thought about them overall. I guess I should probably wait until it actually is out before I ask. Thanks!  :)

I think they are very cool, I like the fact that each episode has a classic frame grab as a sub menu. The extras menu is cool with Lrrr in the background too. The main New New York menu's are pretty good but could have been better though with more detail and depth.

I don't have the DVDs, but I do like the idea of having easter eggs (some that are fun and some you don't wish you found) around the menu screens. The prom opics for the menu backgrounds are also nice.

Well, they are wery cool, IMNSHO. I really like the intermediate scenes, personalized by the characters. To-do-lists and so on, nice addition, shows that the creators cared, and tried to make it consistent with the episode.
