apart from the language i noticed another difference: at amazon.de they say that the german version contains 286 min of material whereas the english contains 308 min.
so, does anyone know what's missing there?

PS: for the spanishs: the german dvd has spanish voices too. release date is 7th of feb.

I have no idea, I'll get the tape so I won't get any extras anyway.

Since this is about the Futurama DVD it should really be in General Discussion, not here.

The german DVD (amazon.de) has Norwegian (and several other) subtitles, but the DVD described at ANSTATMAW only has English, French, Italian and Dutch subs. So I guess the one at yaTack.no (Norwegian webshop) is the German version.

The 286min was taken from the german Foxhome site. It's the same as the Season 1 VHS play time. I guess Fox home just didn't know and used the VHS time. All the features of the english discs are listed:
Audio-Kommentare zu allen Episoden, Animatics, unveröffentlichte Szenen, Script von „Zeit und Raum 3000“ (Spacepilot 3000)

hmm.... I don't know if I'll buy the german version... I guess it would be worth  ;) Anyway I think it's a mistake, it's the same DVD.

Isn't it the same packaging? Cause I will buy it from Amazon.de...

Isn't there anyone that has already bought the DVD from amazon.de that can tell us if it is the same amount of extras on it?

I finally have the DVD-set! It's the German version (Pre-released?) but with a Norwegian cover.

I have made a little page about the two versions (UK and German) and where to buy them. Clickety-clack
