Update... There is a link at CGEF back to Billy's message boards again... Looks like they may be doing TV episodes instead of the movies...

And the other good news is that they're doing 26 new episodes of
''Futurama'' for TV and we're hammering out the deal now.The original
plan was to have the DVD's first but that's no longer the case.I'm totaly
jammed dude.

Billy has made two posts at his forum saying that he was wrong about the 26 epsisodes... he says that as far as he knows the DVDs are still going to happen... further updates as events warrent...

To be honest, proof of these movies gets more and more common. Just watch Adult Swim. The love showing that commercial telling us about the episode rumor being the DVD movies we've heard about, and they have a commercial just for the movies too. It certainly stimulates my brain a little more, even if it turns out to be rumors, which, now is almost possible.

You know, if the deal really passes, I doubt if Mr. West, Matt, ot DXC will speak up about it. I was watching 'The Simpsons' when they announced 'The Simpsons' movie, and I realized something. I realized that a diehard 'Simpsons' fan would be shocked and overjoyed by this news. So the 'Futurama' deal passes? Think how suprised and overjoyed we'd be if FOX (word intentionally uncensored) told us before anyone else! I'm sure someone in that studio understands this...

Regarding the question in the original post: Ok. I'll answer it.
RDS artists who are currently working on another show will start working on the first dvd movie in august/september.
Its finally happening. 

Given the person who posted that doesn't even have a registered account with the forums, this news could be complete bullshit.  I thought it was still post-worthy, though.
