Was anyone else just a LITTLE BIT upset to see the special features when they watched their brand new Futurama Boxed Sets?
Maybe they could've put a tine bit more in than just some stills, sketches and 3D images, or am I missing something really obvious?

Here's what I'd like to see:

Interviews with the voices of Futurama

A David X. Cohen and Matt Groening interview

Maybe some games, such as a Trivia Quiz, Hangman, mini-adventure games etc etc

Does anyone agree?

Well there are some easter eggs on the DVD box sets. Such as Interviews of Matt Groening (Season 1) and DXC (Season 2). Then there are commentary tracks to every episode, containing the vioce actors and writers / producers such as Matt Groening and DXC and so on...
Then there are table reads to few episdoes in Season 3 and 4. Drawing Guides on Fry, Bender, Leela and the Professor, Videos on 3d rendering, the already meantioned scripts and sheets of few Episodes... and and and..

I think that is enough, beside that they are on the edge of what is technical possible to fit on a DVD without losing to much video-quality.

Beside that, the DVDs are normally meant to be played in a DVD-player and not your PC or such. And as well know normal DVD players aren't a gaming console. What I mean is that it would be hard to even implement Games onto a normal Video DVD.

Welcome to PEEL DeltaWave,

Cool, thanks germanfryfan
Yeah, I guess there is a lot, I didn't mean real games like PC ones though, more simple time wasting kind of games... hahahaha
But there is amusement to be found in many places...  :)

This is something I copied of another website and saved onto my computer, thinking that maybe someday it would come in useful.

All of season one
On the third disc of Season One on the main menu, highlight "fry and the slurm factory" and press right on DVD remote. Press enter to see movie poster.
On the second disc of Season One on the Main Menu, highlight "fear of a bot planet" and click up which highlights a slurm truck. Then press enter to see a movie poster.
On the main menu for Season 1 Disc 1 press right to highlight the limo. Press enter to view the film poster for the film 'Planet of the Clams'.
How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back
Click right three times to highlight a floppy disc on the sub menu and then press enter.
A Bicyclops Built for Two
Click left on the submenu highlighting jewel and then press enter.
Lesser of Two Evils
Click left on the sub menu while highlighting the tiara and then press enter.
I Second That Emotion
On the sub menu click up highlighting nibblers eyeball and then press enter.
Amazon Women in the Mood
On the episode menu, there will be a choice of the usual "Play", "Special features", etc. On the left of these options you will see a picture from this episode. Press left and it will be highlighted. If you then press enter you will go onto an easter egg showing the rejected gags beneath "Futurama" in the opening credits.
War is the H-Word
Click up to highlight the bender bomb detonator and then press enter.
All of series 3
This egg is on every disc of the Season 3 DVD box set. At the very beginning of each disc, after the legal stuff has finished, there is a lot of alien writing. When this appears, enter the number '35' for a translation.
(This easter egg is 2 for the price of 1.) On Disc 1 of Season 3, go into the 'A Tale Of Two Santas' menu. Press right to highlight the picture. Press enter to listen to the table read for this episode. Also, you can highlight the picture then press up to highlight Santa's hat. Press enter here to view a Christmas message from the executive producer.
Where No Fan Has Gone Before
After choosing the episode "Where No Fan Has Gone Before", go down to home at the bottom of the screen and press right. The picture of the Star Trek cast and Futurama gang will change to a picture of the Planet Express ship with the engines from the enterprise attached. Press enter and you will hear David Goodman explain about guest voices on the show.
All of series 4
On the 4th season DVD, when it's on the episode selection on the 4th disk, scroll down to "The devil's hands are idle playthings". Push left and it highlights an egg salad sandwich in the fridge, written in alienese. When translated, it says "This DVD includes a specially encoded Easter Egg which you are now meticulously translating from an alien language because you have no life and are a compulsive Nerdlinger(sic). How sad. Its especially sad if you don't speak English and you have to translate the alien language into English and then into your own tongue and you come upon a word like Nerdlinger, which really isn't a word at all, but still aptly describes someone who would actually translate such a word. Twice. And those of you who are reading this translation in a Futurama newsgroup aren't any better. We lurk on those newsgroups and we know what Nerdlingers you guys are, too. Of course you're also our biggest fans, which is sad in its own way. But, since you went to all this trouble to translate an Easter Egg, we do owe you something, so here's a secret about the show. The writers, producers, directors and most of the actors who worked on this show are all Nerdlingers, too."
The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings
On the last disc of the last season, go to the episode "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings". With "play episode" highlighted, click the up arrow on your remote. The Devil's hands will appear. Click enter. You will hear audio of the table reading (rehearsal) of the episode.
