A: Yes, in short they are related.  The brain balls are sort of like the distant, inbred cousins that you know are part of your family, but that everyone pretends not to know.  The brain balls have a much lower intelligence score than the actually brain race, and they're shunned by the brains.  I mean, just look, they lost their whole planet to an army of Earthicans, lead by Zapp Brannigan!  Geeze Louise.

A: The tune triggers a jack in the box within the gun to pop up and increase the pressure in the gun by taking up the volume within the gun so that the gun will be able to fire the rays focussed out of the gun

A: The donkey's name is Mr. Putter. JKZ! Nah, Zapp named all the mount's after himself so that on paper it looks as though he is everywhere in the battle. I.E. Kiff and Zapp brannigan (the donkey) won this part of the fight.

A: He will eventually die of being a lazy bastard, by eating things like Twinky-dogs, electric Frankfurters, and ham flavored gum, and sitting around watching TV all day.  The bed sores eventually move up to his head and swell his brain till his head explodes.  Eww.  Fortunately, however,  long before he used the professor's Real-to-Virtual (R2V) machine to transport his mind into an arcade game where forever more he'll torment video game players around the world with his lightning fast reflexes and cunning tactics.
