Those UMDs are a total rip. Unless a film is Ghostbusters it isn't worth buying more than once.

That definitely equals truth, but his point is pretty clear regardless of the wording.

so you have to buy it once for PSP and then again to watch it on your TV, or you still have to buy a memory card and a computer if you don't have one... sony good!?!? haha don't make me laugh...... oh wait you just did  :p
it the same thing with the PS2, it is only slightly more powerful than the dreamcast, but becasue sony sold it on a lie (saying it can do 77million polys haha) they sold it at an unbelievable price, and sold it because of this hype, even though the dreamcast can be picked up for £20 and can do the same number of polygons!!
in case your wondering they both do about 2-6 million polygons a second.
the PS2 is acctually capable of more (not much more!) but... sony decided they couldn't be bothered to make proper dev-kits for the PS2 and so developers couldn't! make games better than the DC. Of course the DC died because of piracy so wasn't any competition.
so yea... sony are great lol (I'm not saying Microsoft are better but at least they do things properly, PS2 - DVD player first, games console second. Xbox - games console first, DVD second)

Well, the DC died due to a number of reasons.  Piracy was one, Sony's PS2 hype was another, and the general lack of faith in Sega from the consumer was another.      $300 wasn't all that unbelievable a price for the PS2 at launch, since it played PS1 games, CDs, DVDs, and oh yeah, PS2 games as well.  What that has to do with Futurama, I haven't the foggiest.  Well, aside from watching Futurama DVDs on the PS2... that'll work.

and the DC will play, CDs, video CDs, MP3 Cds, WMA CDs and pictures CDs.
but your right, this doesn't have much to do with futurama.
but the topic was PSP and thats sony and sony suck, so back on topic   :)

Go find the video games thread, especially since any last possible Futurama-reelated discussion has taken place.
