That would be totally cool. They have to at least put out some TV shoes out for it or else they would just be stupid.

Anyways, I think putting Futurama on PSP would be a waste of time for FOX.  The people that want the DVDs most likely already have them.  Making them again, to fit a completly different machine would cost way to much money in comparison to how many they would sell.

I dont' think you realise we do analyse forum activity outside here adn decide who needs banning.

You're so far top of the list benderfender.

benderfender, post something useful or piss off. From what I've seen the second option is easily most desirable.

Also, dan1248, perhaps if you followed that advice...oh what's the point? Idiots remain idiots forever.

I doubt they'll put Futurama on PSP. At least not for a while. Fox will wait and see how sales of everything else go first, then flip a coin, and if that coin lands perfectly on its side they'll release it the following year.

Also, benderfender is not going to listen to us. He isn't a spammer, he's a troll.
Dan, however, is just spamming. Don't just rip into everyone Dan. Contribute to the conversation at least. Go back to the Harry Potter forums and close a topic with Tweek's picture or something

No I'm Doesn't. Sorry if Slackit can't take being wrong. By the way, where is this "unlike you just did" forum I heard about? Slackit, stop spamming the forum, you're arguing with me, or something like that. I just find it funny that you complain about complaining about spam, then complain about spam yourself.

Oh right, banning. I don't think I deserve to be, but I'll straighten up anyway, okay?  :)

Anyhoo, I'd love to see Futurama hit UMD.  I would imagine they'll try the Simpsons first, and if that sells well, they'll move onto Futurama and other shows.

Back on topic before this thread gets closed.... I think a Futurama PSP game would be awsome, also on DS. The touch screen would come in handy there!!   :) But I doubt they will make a new Futurama game, not even on the PSP, I've seen the line up of games for it, they are all new games I've never heard of   :laff:

I think that's your longest post yet, congrats.  Dan, I can see them porting it, since it was on the PS2, and could be pulled off on the PSP's hardware.  They might have to scale things back a little, but it could work.

Actually Vivendi Universal Games published it... so this means that if they wanted to, they could release it on the DS, not just the PSP. But as everyone has said, the chances of this happening are slim to none   :(
(also shouldn't this be in the PE Stockroom??)

I think the topic was created because alot of DVD movies are now out for PSP as movies, using the PSP as a sort of DVD player. Except it doesn't play DVDs it plays it's own format of movie and crazysfool is wondering if they'll release the DVDs as PSPs. I don't think shes talking about the game. Or maybe she is, I don't know.

I don't know if there's enough space on a UMD to fit those eps, but I'm sure they could figure something out.

There could still be money in it being ported since the PSP's game library is still rather limited.

I would be pritty annoyed if they brought thtm out on YMD. Think about it! I already have the DVDs so now I have to go out and buy them again to watch them on my PSP!! A console of which I am alrady paying through the roof for because it has these special features! As with most sony products, it sells itself on doing all these things, then when you get it you find out you have to fork out all this extra money to be able to use them!

Just convert episodes to mp4 on the computer and put it on your memory stick.

Why the hell buy the UMDs for the PSP, just get a portable Dvd player and watch the dvds on that

you still have to buy a better memory stick, the software and the link cable for your computer! so still you have to fork out extra to use the features it is being sold for!
I agree with Zogonif, if you want a portable media player buy a portable media player, you'll get better quailty, more reliablity and a lot of them are cheaper. and if you want a game console..... buy a DS!

I think UMDs "only" hold around 1.8 gigs, max, which is far less than a DVD, and why I'd be concerned with the video quality of the eps.

Jay, the only convenience is the fact that the PSP is ultraportable, and the only thing with a screen comparable to a dvd player, lets not forget, they packed spiderman 2 etc on a umd, the can compress the video down, big to small makes for a nicer screen than vice versa

Can you imagine watching Futurama on a tiny screen though? It wouldn't be all that exciting. You might as well get a portable DVD player.

The problem with portable DVD players (well my one anyway) is that you can't select the episode you want. It only has Play, Stop, FF, Rewind, and Pause, so you can't go up or down to select an episode, and can't select play all, you can only watch the top one on the list. Boo!!!

I'm sure they wouldn't market a portable DVD player if you could only select the first option. Are you sure that the FF button, for example, moves your choice down, and rewind, back up?

cujoe, that's true.  I know it's just a convenience issue, and even if they put it on UMD, I'd probably not get it, since the prices aren't good compared to the same things on DVD, but they'd be a nice option to have for Futurama on the go for folks with just the PSP for portable entertainment.
