Futurama DVD Movies

Anyone have any idea what the movies are going to be about?  Any guess?  Will the movies pick up from where "Devil's Hands" left off?  Plus, when will they come out?  My guess is probably not until 1-2 years.

I really hope that the new movie(s) (if infact there will be any movies at all) will not just be an extention of an episode, if you understand...

Good example is the south park: bigger, longer, uncut movie where they actually managed to make a really great movie.


Hope they do something very original, yet extremly funny...(since its futurama ill guess its funny anyway)

Man, you should know this belongs in [PE Stockroom]. At least I think it does. If it doesn't, sorry for sounding however I sounded.

As for your question, if the movie is made, it has to pick up after "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings". If it doesn't, it wouldn't make sense.

It has to be the continuation of the series, but not a 22 minutes episode with a hour of filler.

It must be an spectacle of a show.
I'd prefer to see one excellent movie instead of 3 average movies... the important thing is we see the end of futurama as it was initialy intended by Matt Groening.

I've checked on imd and it said a movie has been announced, but no plot is given.  I hope it's as epic as possible, especially if there are more than one movie.
