Well, I think they have the internet for sure. They said that they've seen "Brannigans webpage" and especially Leela's pics during "I second that emotion".

Also we've seen Leela talking to her parents per "Sewer-com" during "Less than Hero", though that could have been established after the mutants were discovered by Bender, Fry and Leela during "I second that emotion". Before that episode mutants were said to be an urban legend.

edit2: Thanks Tongue Luck, I was thinking about grabbing out that thread.

I remember this question briefly hijacked an unrelated thread...

Makes for some interesting supplementary reading, if you like that sort of thing.

Well you searched the wrong place and you put the topic in the wrong place. It should probably go in re-check/weird scenes with the other one. As for the question, I aggree with GFF.

Alkazar isn't a mutant. He's a backstabbing chaouafffanistic(sp) shape shifting alien.

not necessarily. I'm sure they have suppliers on the surface they can purchase goods from. Of course those suppliers would jack the price up and take full advantage of them but it would allow the mutants to get the things that they need. Like food for example, they can't possibly be supporting an entire city on rats alone. It's also possible some mutants raid junk yards at night/dumpster dive.

I think mutants have internet because they said they saw zapp's web page in I second that emotion.

You'll probably be able to have an internet connection installed in your brain by the year 3000 if not in the next few years. Just be sure to make your payments on time.
