Hi and welcome to PEEL wbreim.

Most likely there's already a thread like this one. You try using the search function.

I used to be very much like you, watched Futurama day in and day out and then some.
Now, I'll be lucky to watch an 1 episode a month. Poor me.

Anyway hope you stick around for a while. : )

I used to watch Futurama all the time, nearly everyday and then I got a bit bored with it. But lately I've been watching my Futurama DVD's a lot.
I say you can never get enough Futurama!! Unless of course you actually do get enough. :)

42 episodes on one day is too much. I know this because I canīt remember what happened in school for three days afterwards...

^You watched Futurama for about 16 hours? Hell, even I couldn't do that, and you're looking at a guy who went into withdrawl after not watching Futurama for only two or three days.

For a light hearted approach to the question.
Still open, but nontheless, that thread is past its day.

If you're not going to actually use the search feature yourself and provide useful links, DON'T POST ABOUT IT.

i see a lot of replies that point me on the direction of a thread of jokes of the ind "you know you watch too much futurama when... blah blah blah"

But i am asking a serious question. I wanna know how much you guys out there watch and then average that and find out if i am somewhat normal. thank you

There isn't a limit of how much you can or can't watch. I mean now it's like Futurama is an addiction, all you want to do is watch more and more of it even though you might know what'll already happen. It's natural. Then you'll slow down and just watch it on TV a few times a week. Then you'll hardly watch it after a while and just be on PEEL talking about it. But none the less you'll get the urge to one day watch all the DVDs and be happy. If you're a true fan you'll never get tired of it. So don't worry. We've all been through it.

This has been Roseanne, you're guide to the world of facts.

Well, I don't see how it was an unreasonable question, I was just supplying Nix with the links he stated that we should be posting, rather than just saying what wbriem should do.

So, on with the question: Yeah, I used to watch it a lot. Then I stopped, and then began again, but that time watching it with commentary. I've now exhausted watching them a lot, but I'm still not tired of them. I just don't watch them as much as I used to. A main reason possibly being that I'm watching other stuff but meh, there's nothing on TV anymore so I'll probably start watching Futurama again quite a lot.

Andy1234: I have gotten around that problem. I have my Internet-window over three quarters of the screen, and Futurama on the side. It is a bit annoying at first, but it stills the craving...

Hey, I only use the first one.
The other ones are already provided in your registration mail, there shouldn't be any need to repeat them.

@Andy: What Nix said to DogDoo's and dr.bender nye's posts does apply to you as well. You might start to work on your own habits before telling people what to do.
Also if you do a search, do it the right way: Futurama Marathons

Ok, enough ranting, let's get it back on topic:

Well, I have made some Futuramathons as well in the past. Mainly during my time when I didn't have the DVDs and watched Futurama on an online winamo-stream.
Back then (late 2003) it happened that it was one about 28 hours in one block. I didn't get bored of it, not at all.

After I bought myself the first 3 DVD sets I watched one or two episodes each night, and once I was through with the original dubbing, I began watching them in German, then the commentaries. After I had done that, I joined PEEL.    ;)

Last November I bought Season 4, so that repeated itself with the last 18 episodes of our beloved show. Now it is about one episode per week, if ever. Normally I watch an episode every now and then when a special DVD is in my DVD-device for taking framegrabs.

Welcome to PEEL, wbreim and Lrrr_Fan

this is fine place, where new members argue with older members and moderators about what is wrong and what is right to do.    :laff:
Of course there is more to talk about than this. Stick around and take part at any discussion you like.

To sum it up, enjoy your stay here.    :)

I can go up to 2 weeks and not watch a single episode, But considering i practically live on PEEl Ontopic and i write a chapter of my fanfic a week, Futurama does take up a good portion of my day whether i watch any episodes or not.

I'm glad that for once we have a nice n00b PEELer. We've lately had some who haven't been cooperative. And I'm sure we can think of some right off the top of our heads right now.

And I'm the same with Venus. I'm on this website all day and I'm usually drawing a Futurama picture or working on a fan fic. I'm glad to have you here wbreim. Welcome and enjoy your stay at Nerd World, or PEEL.

I go through phases, I'll watch anything from 5-15 episodes a day for a few weeks, then I slow down to 1 or 2 or none. When I think the ass groove in my couch needs an overhaul I use Futurama as my excuse and it begins again, a never ending cycle.
