I'm glad I'll be able to see 'Leela's Homeworld' before going back to university in two weeks.. I'm looking forward to that one.  After that I'm going to have to ask my dad to record them, and then wait about a month before I see them.   :(

I don't know why you're so mad, it's not like you didn't get the same episodes before us anyway.

I'm looking forward to seeing it too.  I still don't know whether I'll get to watch it tonight, though - it depends whether anyone else in the common room want to watch it.  If not, I'll have to wait until Friday - I'm going home for the weekend.  :)

Apparantly Godfellas and APTR are very different, and most people tend to love one and hate the other. Well, I HATED APTR so my hopes are up. Also does anyone know when the Season 2 VHS box set will be out?

Also not having SKY must suck so much. Its worth getting SKY just for Sky1 and E4. UK Gold isnt bad either. Double Thin Blue Line on monday.

I like both "Pharaoh" and "Godfellas", which is cool :). Anyway, another new Futurama tonight, this time it's "Futurestocks".

Enjoy it. It turns into a laffer (and that's with 2 f's).  :laff:

Seriously it's a really funny episode, and I still laugh whenever I see it. It's probably the most underrated episode of season 4. The rating at CGEF doesn't give it enough credit, IMO.

Yeah, looks like Sky have decided to shit on Futurama, name me a TV station that doesn't. Let's just hope "30% Iron Chef" is on the week after.

Oh, yeah?  Well I've just found out that on June 2nd, SKY are showing a repeat of "The Day the Earth Stood Stupid"

Replace "Earth" with "SKY" and you have have an accurate assessment of the situation!

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo *deap breath* Nooooooooooooooooooo. What's happening? I was really looking foward to the last two episodes. I thought that 12 episodes was bad enough, but not only has "A Tale Of Two Santas" disappeared, now they're cutting the shortest season in TV even shorter! I can't believe I'm wasting my money paying for programs that don't even air

This is beyond a joke.  I'm sure Sky will show the three missing episodes - it's probably spanning the season out over summer like it does with The Simpsons - but I really don't see what it has to gain by doing this.

It doesn't look like Sky plan to show The 30% Iron Chef at all! They have Where No Fan Has Gone Before planned for Sunday week, and while I'm excited as I've been looking forward to that ep, it sucks that they've culled two eps from this season.

However, Sky are showing Futurama loads next week for Half-Term, including a documentary! Here's what will shown:

Monday
11:00 - Put Your Head On My Shoulders
15:45 - Futurama: Welcome To The World Of Tomorrow

Tuesday
11:00 - The Problem With Popplers

Wednesday
15:00 - Xmas Story
15:30 - Brannigan Begin Again

Thursday
15:00 - Why Must I Be A Crustacean In Love
15:30 - Lesser Of Two Evils

Friday
15:00 - A Bicyclops Built For Two
15:30 - How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back

And don't let that "documentary" fool you.  My bet is it's the same one they've already shown several times, and from which the DVD "featurette" was taken.

Scum! Termagants! As if it's not bad enough that everything else I watch on Sky finishes within the next three weeks, they're cutting Futurama short for *NO GOOD REASON* with *TWO FRICKIN' EPISODES LEFT IN THE SEASON*?

Damn them! Damn them all to hell!

Wonder if I can get a refund on my cable bill over the summer?

I've just posted the following message in PEEL:

Let's clear some things up. First of all, Futurama being off the air has nothing to do with the World Cup, because:

1)SKY don't have World Cup TV rights
2)SKY ONE don't show sports anyway
3)SKY ONE are still showing new episodes of Angel and Enterprise
4)In the UK, the World Cup matches will be finished by mid-afternoon, and the highlights shows are normally late evening.

Secondly, if the documentary is the one I'm thinking of (and I'm 99% sure that it is), SKY ONE have already shown it at least twice before, and much of it was culled to make the "featurettes" in the DVD boxset.

I re-watched "A Leela Of Her Own", and on the end credits it clearly says "the all-new Futurama Season continues in a fortnight". I don't know what they're playing at, maybe they think we're stupid and won't notice that the episode is a repeat.

The thought occurs that they changed their minds...? It happens.

In the US Fox showed previews for the next episode (Godfellas) after the end credits to the previous episode, but they pulled Godfellas about 4 days before it aired in order to show a KoTH episode that was pre-empted earlier in the year by football.

Well you all may be pissed, but I will at least see 2 eps I haven't seen before: TDTESS and HHRHGB. But all the others were shown in C4 about a month ago (infact Hermes... was shown too but I missed it). Guess I'll have to wait for the box sets.

According to one of the satellite listings mags (the one that actually bothers to include episode titles, whichever one that is), there will be *no* new episodes of Futurama in June. They're all repeats.

[Nixon voice] That's it, Sky just made my list...
