Good News Everybody! I have been on the phone to C4, and they have said that if enough people register their views in this manner, the Futurama will be aired on Fridays at 6 every week, in an effort to rival BBC 2's showing of the Simpsons. Their number is:

02073 96 44 44

They also say that C4 won't show Season 3 until June 2003, but this will also change if enough people register their discontent.

Get on the phone, start emailing, take up the banner and fight, fight for the cause!

Also, if you do let C4 know that you want More Futurama, more regularly then please reply here, stating how you registered your opinion, and when. This will be like a register of measures taken to eliminate the mistreatment of a great form of entertainment.

*sits back, exhausted from all that ranting*

Now go....

I feel sorry for those people that don't have Sky. The Season 3 DVDs will be out before June 2003.

I rather watch Futurama on Sky1 or download episodes from my computer.

ok when Channel 4 going to show Futurama they still going to cut scenes out from episodes, they think they can beat BBC2 with the Simpsons?  MY ASS!

It would have been better if channel 2 bought the rights to show Futurama because at least then it may have been treated with dignaty.

I gotta admit i was pretty persistant, having been transferred 3 or 4 times, they probably just told me what I wanted to hear to get rid of me.   :p    :(  sounds like C4 eh?

Yeah, the guy I was talking too was so quiet too (don't know why I mentioned that), although I picked up that the new series was going out at the end of next year, 2002 then. But no reruns in the near future. Thgose B@$t@rd$

They render them both unwatchable and incomprehensible by editing the word ass and any sexual reference out. I can't be bothered with C4 any more. I'll stick with my downloads  :D

It's like a mirror of Channel 7 and channel 10 over here. Channel 10 would at least put futurama on, perhaps wear it out, but at least it would be on

Only repeats but C4 is showing Futurama at 8:30am each week day, starting on the 1st of April, they appear to be series one episodes, hopefully they'll repeat some of series two as well, I expect this is just over the school holidays.

Wow. 8.30am is quite pathetic. I mean even the Tweenies is on later than that. Oh well at least its being shown.

This DOES mean though that futurama will be on no fewer than 17 times this week in the UK. not bad

Now I have the videos I realise what stupid things they cut. In My Three Suns they cut Bender saying "Up yours bimbo!!" That is just taking the piss.

Next week they are starting to re-show series two, they may be cut but I don't have them all on tape, in fact I haven't seen all of them. I'll still be glad when the videos are released I want to see Futurama the way it is meant to be seen.

Yeah..... And in a complete break from tradition (i.e. the Simpsons) Sky have decided to show two new episodes in a row! (shock). Lets hope they don't feel they have to stretch a season out to fill a year.
