I'm new at PEEL but I want to ask some of the classic members a question.
Why does everybody have stars under their picture and then a name?
And how do you increase your stars?

These stars relate to the ranks you get by posting here. The more posts you have made the more stars you'll get. It is not an invitation to spam around here, though.

Check out the PEELer's FAQ, it is explained in there, along with many other useful tips and guidelines.
There are some rules you should follow for sure. These are :
- no double postings (take advantage of the edit-button)
- and searching before opening new threads.

Question:
I've been looking around PEEL for awhile now and still haven't found any info or threads on POTM or PEELies. Where are they?

The Potm-rules are covered in the PEELer's FAQ.   

The PEELie rules are quite easy:

A group of Peelers (mixed from all ranks, age, gender and experience) comes together at the end of the year, and decides in which categories PEELies will be given out. They also decide which PEELers will get nominations for each category.

When their job is done they will open a thread with said categories and their nominations.

Our (the other PEELer's) job is to mail them which of the nomines will get our vote.
After the election closed they will hand the awards out.
