Quick Futurama Message on [adult swim] Did anyone catch it??

A few days ago I was watching [adult swim] and they started flashing quick little things about the shows on the network about new things this year. I spotted new episodes of Family Guy and a few new shows that will air.

But also, I saw them flash something about Futurama on the screen, but I missed it.

Did anyone see this?

I didn't. I haven't watched [as] in awhile. Been watching Futurama on DVD instead of having to wait through FG to watch it.

When was this Nasty Pasty? Did you know what the message looked like? (Are you 100% positive it was about Futurama?)
The only thing I can think of that sounds similar to your description is when [as] showed a list of their schedules for later this year. (It filled up the whole screen.)

It was earlier this week, and it's not the same as the schedules for 05'. Basically, they gave these half-second long bumps for all their shows, old, new, and upcoming with news about the shows in 2005.

I recall there was a picture in the Futurama bump too, possibly for the new DVD coming out.

Well, I haven't found any pictures of the DVD cover, but Monster Robot Maniac Fun Collection is said to come out May 10.

^futufan said it was pushed back, and TV Tome (or some site) said a tentative release date is now soetime in JUne/July.

Wow, that was a productive post.  (I kid, I'm really not that much of a meanie.) It totally stinks that the DVD is going to experience the same delay that there was with the box sets. It's gonna kill me to not know about the commentaries while people from the UK can just waltz right into a store and buy it! Agh! *pulls out hair* But, I've nothing against you UK guys...lucky bastards.

I saw it once about two weeks ago.

It basically had these 1.5 second-long slides for each Adult Swim show and what new things we will be seeing this year.

I know the Futurama slide had a picture, I just didnt play enough attention to notice anything else on that slide.

I've been looking for it every time I watch [as].

So all the box sets had the same delay as this new DVD, but they still came out? (Damn, that's was a stupid question. of course they did.)
My main question is is this DVD following the same course as the Volume box sets?

It was supposed to release on the same day in both Regions, but something happened in Region 1, so Region 2 gets the May date, but Region 1's isn't set. So, yeah, it's following the R2 then R1 releasing.

Also, I had an on-topic question: Do the same bumps appear on the weekend as the week? I only watch during the week, so I dunno if I still need to watch out for it. When did you see it? (Obviously I'm posting right now, or I'd just scroll up and look...) Sorry for the trouble.

^Well on Saturday, all they have are pictures of either Fry or Bender in the background, with 'Futurama' written somewhere.
So from what I've seen, the bumps on weekends are different than the ones on weekdays.

Many apologizes(sp?) for the double-post, but [adult swim] did a pretty cool thing for 'Futurama'.

There was a bracket, kind of like how a playoff bracket for the NBA or NHL work out. All I know is that 'Futurama' is in the "West/or East Finals" (beating some other [adult swim] shows), and 'Family Guy' lost. Don't know what show is on the other side.

Will update on whether or not 'Futurama' won. (Pretty obvious it will, since this whole thing was a promo right before the show started.)

-Yea. Something called 'Reign' beat 'Futurama' and won the whole thing. I'm so happy. Yeah right. The results were rigged.

I've been watching Futurama on [as] lately, mostly because it's the beginning of Season 3 on now(great episodes). Does anybody know what Reign is? I've NEVER heard of it. And promos I love. I even made my name for my one blog as the title they gave to Futurama for one of the schedule line-ups last year, when they called it The Futurators.

On a happier note, an ATHF movie is going to be released in December. This brings hope to all us Futurama fans in that [as] has money.

What's your deal with ATHF animation, ecks? It's meant to be crappy animation! Like South Park. It could have nice, clean cut animation with the system they use, but instead, they try to make it look like cut outs.

I think ATHF in the Futurama universe would be funnier than Futurama in the ATHF universe.

Although this might not be the right place to ask this, in TFH FAQ, they talk about when you become Starship Captain, you can name your ship. How do you do that?

...but I'm really anctious to see what the ATHF movie is going to be about! I mean it's gotta be something rediculouse! Maybe they fight ATHF clones or something... that's be stupid....
