The Greatest!!!

  If you had the chance of running a show tributed to Futurama.  What charactors would you have for:
The main person(To introduce everyone)
Little sketches!
Also...  What sort of charators would you use to create a Futurama band!
Aswell as all this...You could mix up all the charactors and turn them into one.  What parts of each FUTURAMA charactor would you use?

Please  reply to this in a normal way.  Not blabering on about nything!!!!

ooooo! a futurama band! ok, lets see, fry would be the screamer, bender would do that scratch thing he does, leela would play the drums, amy would sing, hermes would dance (limbo), zoidberg would...um...hit the record button for their music collect the money for the concerts and professor would be their manager...yeah! hehe 

and lets see...one whole character...i would use...fry's body, fry's head, and fry's personality hehehe

Zoidy is able to be quite ghetto indeed. I say he'd play turntables. Or make funkadelic mouth noises.
And Bender's "scratchy thing" is known as a washboard.

Futurama Band?
I would also have Leela on drums and possibly vocals as well. - Katey Sagal does also do that sort of thing for a living too.
Fry could sing I guess or play the electric guitar - maybe even do all the band's videos on a Holophoner 
Amy - I don't know, maybe vocals too. - Possibly the saxophone?
Zoidberg for the dance movements 
Hermes could play the keyboard.
Bender could play his washboard and do some sound effects?
And, I also think Farnsworth should be the manager.

The band idea is great.

Zoidberg would end up being the roadie for the band though - they'd never let him on stage.

Fry on lead guitar, Leela on drums and lead vocals, bender on washboard (and as creative head of the band) and Amy as backup vocalist (with a tambourine).  Hermes should be the manager (he is a bureaucrat, after all) and the professor could supply funky, unique instruments.

I think Amy would do vocals better than Leela. Bender would play bass or keyboard, Fry is the leading guitarist, but I can't see Zoidberg on turntables. His claws aren't nimble enough to move the records, and all those little knobs and sliders on his Vestax mixer. Zoidy would be better as an MC, prancing with the mike and telling everyone to clap their hands.

Leela would be the obvious choice for lead vocals, just watch "A Tale of Two Santas". She has a lovely singing voice.

But since she has experience with the drums, that would be her instrument, and I think that would pass the lead vocals to Amy. Correct me if I'm wrong, but drummers don't have the best of surroundings to do vocals. If they can do vocals, Leela's up, and Amy will be supportingg vocal, along with somesort of wind instrument.

Bender on keyboard. Fry as guitarist or basist, Zoidy would take the other. Farnsworth would make the backup choir in his lab, and control them on stage. Hermes is manager. Scruffy could be roadie, and Cubert is just along to haul the heavy things.
