In x-mas story, Leela say to Fry:

-Oh! You mean Xmas. You must be using an archaic pronunciation, like when you say "ask" instead of aks.-

So "Ask" = "aks"

But I saw in some place people using "axe"

So witch is the good way to write it?
Aks or Axe

Nope, nothing wrong there. You just spelt "axe" wrong. That's what Leela says.

I don't think it matters.  If this is for yor fanfic, Nic, just pick one and stick with it.

I'd probably use aks myself, just to avoid homonym confusion.

There's a classic book called "Hobson's Choice" set in the victorian age, its spelled 'ax' in there.

I think 'aks' looks better though...
