Hey All,
I was looking through a 'Far Side' book. (The cartoons by Gary Larson for those who don't know) And the caption on one cartoon was 'I'm afraid you have elephants, Farnsworth'

Ha Ha, how about that, A Futurama 'reference' 10 years before the show even started...

I once knew a girl named Amy before the show even started so what? It's a name like Farnsworth.

So if this made sense in the first place ( :p), wouldn't it be a Far Side reference in Futurama?  (In no way is Travis saying that this is or could be a reference, he despises this thread and hates you all)

Coincidence?

Nah, no such thing as coincidence.  Not in this modern world of conspiracy theories.

Well sorry for pointing something out, jees, just thought I'd made a note of something interesting, seeing as how there's not much happening round here right now..

I like it. The red of the X plays off the white of the surrounding box nicely.

Someone has read "3001 - Final Oddisey" by Arthur C. Clarke?

this is a lot of Futurama coincidences, from the situation of one person being frozen 1000 years to hand carer chips.

First, Groening probably took the career chips thing from that book.

Also, there's a Chicago Cubs relief pitcher named Kyle Farnsworth.

Or possibly it is not a coucidence, because a man of the name "Philo Farnsworth" was the creator of the television. Also a little random knowledge shows that the first television exhibit at the world's fair was called "Futurama"

(by the way is a nightmare drive in those two streets, in the "Lila" street someone (a woman) tryed to steal my car... she failed..., in the "Fry" street my brother crashed the car 2 weeks ago)
