On the back of disk two of the Futurama Season 1 DVD, if you look at the picture of Fry, Leela, and bender carring his head (episode: A Big Piece of Garbage) you'll see Bender in the middle of the three. But in the show, he's (i think) on the left.

The easiest explanation is that the pictures on the DVD covers aren't taken from the show but drawn as promotion Pictures.  ;)
