The "I still don't understand that" line just bugged me somehow. To me it sounded as if you had a problem with his name.

I have absolutely no problem with his name. When I said "I still don't understand that", I was referring to the fact that [as] censored "Jesus" when the Professor says "Sweet zombie Jesus", in the episodes "The Deep South" and "Bender Gets Made". Meaning, I don't understand why they have to censor it, when FOX (a major network) didn't.

I think the deal might be that Turner is based in Georgia, I think....a "deep south" area if you will and thus obviously intensely religious and very humorless about it.  Hence the rule they apparently have that "Jesus" can't be used as an expletive.  I believe there were similar issues with some other special AS was going to run, where they refused to air it unless they edited out a use of Jesus as an expletive but the creators refused to have their work censored.

But, that's not much of a welcoming post.  Welcome to the new member named after one of my favorite phrases!

I don't understand religious people. They should be able to take a few harmless jokes.
But that's just me. If I were raised in their position, I'd probably be pissed off. But I'm speaking from my position.
