What do you think are the meanings of the episodes? For example WMIBACIL "Why Must I Be A Crustacion In Love" is meant to expand the relationship between Fry and Zoidberg in my opnion. ALso what do you think was the inspiration for the episode?

I think WMIBACIL was meant to be a hillarious parody on the TOS episode "Amok Time".

Didn't Zoidberg try to kill Fry in that episode?

Yeah, but WMIBACIL was really just a Zoidberg-centric episode. In Season 2, they tried to do an episode about every character...

Zoidy had Why Must I Be A Crustacean In Love?
Farnsworth had A Clone Of My Own.
Amy had Put Your Head On My Shoulders.
And Hermes had How Hermes Requesitioned His Groove Back... sort of. It was supposed to be a Hermes-based episode at first, anyway.

I just think it was more-or-less to show Zoidberg's background. We knew nothing about his species or his planet before, so this episode really helped enlighten fans about that. That was pretty much the whole point, in my opinion.

Yeah I feel sorry for Hermes. I mean he only has 1 episode that's suppose to be based on him but it really ends up with Fry stealing it.

It can be argued that Route of all Evil is sort of a Hermes centred episoide too, can't it?

I also though it was a parody of "Amok Time" and relationships.  I think Amy  as well as Hermes should have gotten more character development.  We don't know anything about her before she got to Planet Express.

I think it (Cyber House Rules) was one of those "love yourself for who you are" episodes.

Spanish Fry was saying "If we're going to be canceled we're going to have at least 1 nasty episode before we go".

Woooo!

TDTESS, RTEW and TWOF were all for the furtherance(?) of the epic plot Matt Groening and David Cohen had in mind.

I think there's a good meaning in every episode.

The best one was the birdbot of Ice Katraz as they all talk about it on the commentaries:
Dont juge people before you get too know them and dont mess with penguins.
