It is the only episode where a person dies, but it is not directly caused by someone in the planet express crew.  Every other episodes death is related to a crew members actions

edit: well more specificly, bender doesnt sing in fear of a bot planet, he sings in the other two. so its not just that the songs are about him, its that he actually sings. not sure if you meant that or not, just wanted to make it clear.

Bender meets people he used to know in The series has landed (the robot whaler sing the whaling song) and Mars university (the robots in Robot House). He doesnt meet anyone he has already  met in Hell is othe robots.
