Thanx Mark :)

I think they should make an episode where Morbo's race invades Earth and try to take over. He always says that the puny humans will one day be killed by them, it would be funny to see their attempt fail :laff:

Funny, maybe they can be hired as cartoon hosts for childrens programs, or late night horror movies.  The EVIL Jay Sherman, so to speak.  And they also can host the state lottery show.

Sounds cool to me, two out of my three favorite robots in one episode! The other being Robot Santa. Maybe they could make another Christmas episode and all three could be in it, that could be really cool, if written correctly :)

id like to see more about zoidberg. but not a crappy one like lobstertainment...this one would be funny.. maybe something along the line of zoidberg being frozen for a thousand years, only to wake up in a future--futuristic world dominated by ending units and Morbo... um, and bender can be in it too.

But Im-a not gonna tell ya about 'im  :p

Oh, ok two of 'im

Fry and Leela are in a secret relationship... oh, wait I wrote a fic about that already..  :hmpf:
umm... Fry gets mutated into... no I did that already as well...  :hmpf:
A starwars parody? no no, already working on that...  :hmpf:
oo! how about The Mayor finds out Leela is a mutant and forces her to live in the sewers with the other mutants. Fry goes down and visits her, trying to help her out, and convinces the crew to get the Mayor's decision appealed.

mmm,.. or Bender gets a small but powerfull magnet stuck to his head, that nobody is able to remove, and he lives out his 'dream' of being a folk singer..

or,.. An aggressive computer virus paralyzes all the computers and Technology in the world forcing everyone to live without them for a few days.
Something only Defrostee's could do, ie Fry.
Unfortunetly for the Crew, Fry was in a virtual video game when the virus struck and he is stuck in the game!
Have abunch of misshapes as the crew and the rest of the world tries to cope without technology.
Fry is unaware of the trouble and continues to play, defeating the 'End Boss' and the game.
The 'End Boss' coincedentaly being the virus.
So he returns having inadvertantly, and un-knowingly saved the day.

And no post about me double posting! I tryied to get it all in one(even posted and edited) but it kept giving me an error.

Of course we know that most likely no new episodes will ever be written, but here's some ideas I've had lying around the dark corners of my head.

Enterprising: Although they've already parodied Star Trek and done time-travel stories, I still like this one. A time-travel mixup (ala ST: First Contact) takes the crew, along with Zapp and Kif, back in time to mankind's first "modern" space flight (not Cochran's first warp flight, but the Enterprise mission). Zapp somehow becomes the captain, and Quantum Leap jokes ensue. Meanwhile, Hermes, finding himself in a past before the Star Trek Wars, is able to come out of the closet as a trekker, and annoys everyone. After instigating war with a number of alien species (thus explaining the later invasions that decimate Earth), the crew gets back to the present through some incredibly trekkian pseudoscience.

Happy Daze: The crew makes a delivery to a planet much like Ork (with a few Orkin Exterminator jokes thrown in with the Mork ones). Because of a mishap with Fry's laundry, he's wearing rainbow-colored suspenders, so their leader (with a name similar to Orson) believes he's their long-lost scout. The rest of the crew is frozen in time (ala Mork in Happy Days--and throw in a Bender as the Fonz joke, smacking himself on the side of the head to start up some music or something) while Fry is debriefed on the history of the Earth over the past millenium. Of course the Orkans have entirely the wrong information, and believe that Earth is under the brutal domination of alien invaders. They fly off to liberate Earth--and DOOP thinks they're invaders. A huge war ensues, with both sides killing huge numbers of Earthlings while trying to defend them, but in the end everyone figures out the silly misunderstanding, and they all have a good laugh until Fry accidentally eats Orson's spaceship (a giant egg, of course).

The Misplaced World: A Jurassic Park parody. Prehistoric creatures are reconstructed for a theme park. Of course all fossil records have been destroyed (repeatedly), so they get quite a bit wrong, and the dinosaurs look more like Barney, Vancouver Raptors players, Sleestaks, etc. than realistic dinosaurs. But regardless, the creatures get out of control, just as the PE crew comes to make a delivery and gets stuck there. Fry comments, "This is just like that movie, where those people were stuck in a theme park and everything was trying to kill them, what was it called? Oh yeah, Westworld!" The crew runs for their lives, comes up with some crazy schemes that don't work, etc. Fortunately, dinosaurs turn out to be remarkably similar to animals raised as pets on Morbo's homeworld, so the theme park turns their loss into a lucrative profit by selling the fearsom animals to small children. The crew is rescued quite easily at the last minute when Morbo's family comes to pick up their new pet, the raptor that was about to eat them all.

The First Victim. Fry accidentally joins up in a murder game just like the one in the Seventh (or Tenth, if you prefer the movie to the story) Victim. So, he's assigned his first victim, and it turns out to be a beautiful innocent woman who--just as in the story--makes a habit of seducing her would-be assassins and then killing them. Fry doesn't get the concept of the game, and doesn't realize he's supposed to kill her. Meanwhile, she can't bring herself to seduce poor, pathetic Fry to his doom. There's a very touching scene where instead of killing each other, they hug tearfully--at which point her assigned target comes around the corner, spots his would-be assassin, and blows her away.

I had a Logan's Run parody idea, but the Sunset Squad already stole most of the fun from that. Basically, Fry turns 30 and doesn't realize that he was supposed to apply for an extension if he wants to live another 30 years; Farnsworth, meanwhile, forgot to apply for his last extension. The two of them run for their lives and escape to a paradise where the runners live. Just like Logan, Fry is astonished to see what an old man looks like (even though Farnsworth is 60 years older). And he meets a new love interest. And so on. Eventually, Hermes manages to straighten out everyone's records, and they're reintegrated into society. However, the rest of the runners are embarassingly behind the times (wearing 1970s sci-fi outfits instead of 2000's sci-fi outfits--they even think rings are cool!), so they all (including Fry's new love) decide to go back to their secret paradise.

And somewhere, in one of these episodes, we must see Falco's head in a jar. Or else.

The only problem I have with my Misplaced World idea is the ending. If you're going to have a Deus Ex Machina ending in a parody, it should either be very funny, incredibly implausible, or a parody of a famous Deus Ex--and my idea is really none of the three (although it does involve Morbo, which is always nice).

The whole idea is really just a vehicle for the "Westworld" joke. I love the idea that Fry wouldn't recognize Jurassic Park if it bit his nose off--but even he can see that Jurassic Park is just Westworld with dinosaurs in place of robot cowboys.

(Also, there could be an Itchy & Scratchy Land reference thrown in.)

Exactly like it is today.

I really like Enterprizing. We need more farout plots, that explains some things we've already seen, like the destruction of Earth. Maybe the Zapper fooled around with the wrong daughter, or they met a race where the women give birth and  the male part of the population take care of the nursing (they're the ones with da boobies, if that makes it a bit more clear), and Zapp accidently hits on the President, Military Dictator, etc.

OK, I wrote a fanfic for "Triassic 3--The Misplaced World" and submitted it at CGEF (is that the best place to submit it for fans to read it?). I think I came up with a better ending, too.

Anyway, it's obviously a first draft (I haven't even skimmed it to see if the acts are the right length, much less to check for pacing or continuity), but I think it's still entertaining.

It's also my first fanfic, and I haven't read that much fanfic either. I was sitting here worried about how to format a teleplay in a way that'll still be readable when posted on the web (and displayed with proportional fonts, etc.). And after the fact, I figured out that nobody bothers with the script format in the first place. (Sometimes I need to be reminded that not everyone lives in Hollywood....)

Anyway, if people like The Misplaced World, I can probably do Enterprising and Happy Daze as fanfic.

I've also remembered a couple of other ideas floating in my head (some of which I may have suggested in a similar thread here or elsewhere long ago):

* The Comedy Bug: A computer virus (evolved from old Square Pegs episodes) makes Bender want to be a stand-up, and everyone helps out with his dream (except Zoidy, who's jealous and decides to get back by stealing his dream of being a folk singer); this one can include Phil Hartman's head (playing Zapp in a sketch on SNL) and Falco's head, too.

* Traitor Joe: Nixon, trying to root out conspirators in his government, commissions the building of a special robot, the McCarthytron, to investigate. After condemning all of the liberals in Congress, the McCarthytron goes too far, labelling Mom (his creator) and even Nixon as Communists. Eventually, everyone is in jail but those who were too apathetic to ever vote on anything. Even Fry is arrested for writing in "Your Butt" for a class president election in junior high (the last time he voted for anything), leaving Bender as the only free creature on Earth. Which is fine with him--but he accidentally saves the day when some Kirk-destroying-the-computer-style logic turns the robot from a Joseph McCarthy type to a Jenny McCarthy type. Nixon proposes giving Bender a medal, but the proposal loses in the UN by one vote (because Norway's prime minister doesn't bother to vote).

* Fjord Schmjord: Bender tries to actually run Norway.

* A Dirty Pair parody (with a little general anime parody thrown in).

The Dirty Pair (original version or Adam Warren comic, at least, me not know DP Flash) consists of a violent, street-wise ass-kicker and a more-glamorous ditzier throatcutting vixen who likes high-tech. G'uh.

I guess Nibbler would be Mughi...

Actually, the idea was more that the PE crew would meet the Dirty Pair. Since the PE crew, Zapp, and Kei & Yuri all seem to blow up space stations for no good reason, I thought it would be fun to throw all three of them together at a ridiculously over-complicated plot. Something like this:

PE is contracted to send a package to DOOP's temporary headquarters station, and they get attacked on the way there by evil-doers intent on destroying DOOP while they're receiving a delegation of hippies.

Meanwhile, a mysterious government agency finds out that the package PE is delivering may actually be a bomb--but since there are so many bomb threats that turn out to be nothing, instead of sending their top agents, they send Kei & Yuri, the "Lovely Pair."

Even more meanwhile, Zapp sees the hippies going to DOOP and decides he must destroy them to protect DOOP.

Of course the three meet up. Amy recognizes that the "Lovely Pair" are actually the "Dirty Angels," who wreak (accidental) havoc wherever they go, but Leela doesn't believe her. (Fry: "Who are the Dirty Angels?" Amy: "They're two top-secret government agents who nobody's supposed to know about, named K--" Fry: "Oh, I know. They wear all black, and they have this thing that takes away your memory, right?" Leela: "What are you talking about, Fry?" Fry: "Huh? Oh, I don't remember.&quot ;)

The bomb is actually a dud; the evil mastermind's real plot was just to get the Dirty Angels there, knowing they'd find some way to destroy everything.

Each of the three nearly destroys the station at least once, but is thwarted as an accidental side-project of something idiotic that one of the others does. Somehow, the evil mastermind is actually exposed and captured with no mass destruction.

At the end, nobody's quite sure what happened. As the PE ship heads off, Fry asks Leela, "So what exactly did we just do?" Leela answers, "I'm not sure, but at least we didn't blow up the station this time." Cut to Kei asking Yuri the same question, getting the same answer. Then Zapp saying, "Once again, Zapp Brannigan has saved the day." Kif sighs and says, "At least we didn't blow up the station this time." After all three ships fly peacefully out of sight, we begin a slow fade--and just before getting all the way to black, there's a huge explosion.

If there's enough time, an incredibly convoluted love-polygon can be added. Amy is also convinced that Kei and Yuri lesbians, but Fry and Leela don't believe her (Leela thinks Amy's just jealous that for once she's not the female getting the most attention), and Fry falls for Yuri. Of course she has no interest in Fry--but Kei, seeing that Fry likes Yuri and not her, decides that she wants Fry. Which Fry might go for, except that Kei is for some reason disguised as a man (a disguise which fools absolutely nobody except Fry and Zapp). Meanwhile, Zapp hits on Yuri incessantly (until discovering that Leela is around), which is enough to make her think she might actually be gay--so she chases after Amy (one Jay & Silent Bob joke will be enough, thank you). Nibbler & Mughi's potential romance is cut short by a fight over food. Of course Amy & Kif are both around. And the evil mastermind turns out to be Free Waterfall, Sr.'s former lover (and possibly the mother of Free Waterfall, Jr., although they're not sure).

Meanwhile, we get to anime/manga references that start off in the DP era (late 80s/early 90s)--Amy in an extremely overdone exoskeleton mecha-type thingy, Leela fighting in that silly detailed-characters-on-a-background-of-nothing-but-diagonal-stripes style, Zapp thinking Kei turned into a woman because she had water thrown on her, etc.--and regress back to the early 70s--Zapp firing the SDF-1's cannon, Nibbler finding a tasty monkey in the trunk of a race car, etc.

I have no idea how much of this would fit into 30 minutes....
