Easter Egg on Vol.4

Hey... I dunno if anyone else has found this, and I did'nt look too well to find a post about it but, I found an Easter Egg on Disk 3 of the Season 4 DVDs.

In the Where No Fan Has Gone Before Menu, there is a small piece of paper in the bottom right that says Trekfest 3002 with a little clip on it. If you click on the clip and then click on the frame from the episode (which has now changed to a picture of the ship rather than a picture of the characters) you get a reel with David Goodman and John Dimaggio.

And a more obvious Easter Egg on the fourth disk. If you click on the picture of the egg salad sandwhich (that Fry ate in Parasites Lost), in the fridge, you get a screen full of a message in the first alien language, I have not translated it, but maybe some has (or will?).

yep, I knew about both of them, and I took the liberty of translating the whole thing. Here it is:

THIS DVD INCLUDES A SPECIALLY ENCODED EASTER EGG WHICH YOU ARE NOW METICULOUSLY TRANSLATING FROM AN ALIEN LANGUAGE BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO LIFE AND ARE A COMPULSIVE NERDLINGER, HOW SAD. IT'S ESPECIALLY SAD IF YOU DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH AND YOU HAVE TO TRANSLATE THE ALIEN LANGUAGE INTO ENGLISH AND THEN INTO YOUR OWN TONGUE AND YOU COME UPON A WORD LIKE NERDLINGER WHICH REALLY ISN'T A WORD AT ALL, BUT STILL APTLY DESCRIBES SOMEONE WHO WOULD ACTUALLY THRANSLATE SUCH A WORD, TWICE. BUT, SINCE YOU WENT TO ALL THIS TROUBLE TO TRANSLATE AN EASTER EGG, WE DO OWE YOU SOMETHING, SO HERE'S A SECRET ABOUT THE SHOW, THE WRITERS, PRODUCERS, DIRECTORS, AND MOST OF THE WRITERS, PRODUCERS, DIRECTORS AND MOST OF THE ACTORS WHO WORKED ON THE SHOW ARE ALL NERDLINGERS, TOO.

on the season three dvds it sais that theres an easter egg in the special features box on the back of the case, anyone know what it is ?

For that Season 3, I've found the Easter eggs on Disk 1  This is for Region 4 don't know what Region you've got

-Hidden table read

-From the A Tale of Two Santas main menu, press right to highlight the mini-screen with a candy cane pattern, then up to make a Santa hat appear at top right.
- Press 'enter' for a badly recorded, but often hilarious, audio-only table read of the episode which runs for something like half an hour and a bit.


Hidden footage
- From the A Tale of Two Santas main menu, press right to highlight the mini-screen with a candy cane pattern.
- Press 'enter' for a nerds-in-hyperdrive 4:56 X-mas message from David X. Cohen.

Unused captions
- From the Amazon Women in the Mood menu on disc one, move left to highlight the mini-screen.
- Press 'enter' for innumerable unused captions as found at the beginning of each episode.

Also in Season 3 on Disk 4 on the back In the Special features part it says there is a Easter egg on the disk i've tried finding it but have'nt found it does anyone else know of this ?

In that case it would be something the Region 2 DVD's don't have. They don't refer to the alternate commentary for "Roswell That Ends Well"?

They dont refer to no extra commentarys...btw, how do i access the extra audio commentary (i have region 4 )

The same way that every region does it...

Go to the language selection screen for "Jurassic Bark" or 'Roswell That Ends Well" and select 'more'.

Go to the "Roswell That Ends Well" menu, and then enter the language menu. At the buttom there's a "More" sign that will take you to the alternate commentary.

Alternately you can use the "Audio" button on your remote while watching the episode to select audio track 3.

Edit: bah, beaten by slacky. Had to look up the spelling of buttom/button
