The New "50 Sexiest Cartoon Babes" Poll

A couple years ago the site Retrocrush did a list of the 50 Sexiest Cartoon Babes.  Amy ended up at #33, Leela didn't appear at all.  (The PEEL discussion of the old list is here, if you want to add anything.)  Well, the site is now doing a new poll and asking readers to send in their choices.  Here's what site owner Robert Berry had to say:

"A couple years back we had the 50 Sexiest Cartoon Babes Of All Time.  It was based on reader response, and I think it's high time we took a whole new poll!  If it's been festering inside of you that the list doesn't accurately reflect the true hottest babes of the comic and cartoon world properly, now is your chance to set things straight.  Email your choices and reasons why to   rberry@retrocrush.com   and we'll use them to tally the votes.  You have until August 25th, so don't delay.  All entries become the property of retroCRUSH and may be reprinted in full or in part."

So if you think there should be more Futurama representation on the list, send in your votes.  But don't just complain about the choices from last time, because those were made by readers, not the guy who runs the site.

Maybe so, but I've never found her to be THAT attractive. At least not as much as some of the people lower ranked than her.

The only flatering picture of Leela that I like is her in that pink number in Parasites lost.

maybe its her attitude that makes me not think of her as sexy.

but you would have to agree there are some lookers in that line up.

anyway i'll have alot thinking to do for my choice.

Hey what if there was a best twosome poll. then you could put that picture of Amy and Leela in Jurasic bark inn.

Now theres an eye catcher. and the best thing about that one is that its not fake.

I emailed Berry with the questions people have asked, but he hasn't responded yet.  But it seems from his description that you can vote for multiple characters.  Hopefully I'll hear back from him, though.

there was some other girl on Rescue Rangers that was hotter than Gadget...she was in just one episode...the one with the "Fat Cat Casino"..don't know if you remember her or not. I think she had a crush on Chip.

I got it from the "The Voices" art thread. He used to be the best Futurama Artist around, but has since retired. Thats just a sample dude.

The only other girl I remember from Rescue Rangers was the one who looked like Gadget, only she was evil.  She was hot, but not as hot as Gadget.

I couldn't find anything pertaining to a new top 50 Cartoon Babes list, but thanks for turning me on to Retro Crush. Great site. Surfed it for a long time and found some funny, funny stuff.

The only reference to making a new list is at the end of the article about Veronica from Archie Comics.  I'm surprised he hasn't said anything else about it, especially since the deadline for entries is less than a week away.

No.  I'm sure it'll take a long time to tabulate the results and then write an entry for each character.  I was personally wondering if voting would be extended since the poll was barely advertised.  But I guess that's more votes for Futurama characters... you all did vote, right?
