Bitchy bitchy, Kryten. I will remember this next time you start banging on about some US TV show that has never been exported.

There's two ways this thread could head, it could be a huge success, or it could be like when the council build a special designated wall for people do graffiti, but it just makes people do it in other places all the more.

Maybe the thread title is a little bitchy, but in the last few days we've had half a dozen threads pop up about individual shows that I've never heard of. We don't need a whole thread for every single show, especially if it's only of interest to about a dozen people.

Spaced??? I have to mention that if I can.

Actually though I think Bravo are sowing it in the US.

Ahhh, and soon it will grow into a fine figure of a show, as long as it's got fertile ground.

Spaced is a shining light in recent British Sitcoms. It's great. Me and my sister love it.  :)

I hope they dont export "Does Doug Know?" I don't want any other country to die of boredom by watching it.

Its not a comedy as everyone seems to be mentioning but is Jonathan Creek just in the UK?? I loved that when it was on, it was so clever!

It definitely has comedy leanings, Alan Davies is a comedian, after all.

It is shown in the US, Australia and New Zealand too, see the user comments here

I think it's great, as well. Most people seem to be able to work it out (or at least say they do) but it always puzzles me. I guess I'm just a thicko.

Has anyone seen the new, longer Manga-style World Cup trail on the BBC? It uses the classic Kashmir riff... granted, it is really from 'Come With Me' from Godzilla, but it's still basically Kashmir.

I used to enjoy that, it was good fun, I don't bother watching when they repeat it though as I tend to remember how it was done and that spoils it.  :)

Jonathan Creek is the greatest!

Also: Big Train, Cold Feet, Room 101, Have I Got News For You (I assume no other country would get the jokes), and is So Graham Norton shown in other countries?

Those shows may've been exported, I dont know.

Like some tosser in did in Windsor. The council were gonna build a graf art wall, and then this twat went and tagged all the houses around the neighbourhood.

By the way has anyone else seen those kids programs like Short Change where kids complain about how a skate park hasnt been built near them and that it is unfair that they get singled out by society. Makes me LOL every time.  :D

Eastenders! Frankly it probably never existed.

OK I may as well use this tpoic.

What does everyone think of The Bill? The old repeats on UK Gold are excellent, but the new episodes have too much soapy elements to them like lesbian cops and gay commanders etc etc.

Drum lesson? Do you only learn one at a time?   :laff:

I wouldn't mind having a go at drums, bit expensive for me though. I'll stick to listening.

Have you got a hero drummer? John Bonham? Keith Moon? Ginger Baker? Tony Meehan ?

I saw a bit of it, but wasnt my thing.

And no I dont have a hero drummer. I would recommend taking up drums, or bass guitar. Both are more rhythm based and both are so much easier to play than a standard guitar.

Guitar player suck!!!!

I still watch The Bill but it isn't as good as it used to be, killing a large number of regulars is also a bad sign for a show.

I watch Buzzcocks even though I don't know anything about the music; it is funny as is Have I Got News For You

I can't see Graham Norton getting exported, certainly not to the US networks, the fundamentalist types over there would have a fit if they saw it  :evillaugh:

I still watch the Bill to see if Taviner will get caught, but I'm not a regular viewer. I even missed the explosion. It was great around the early 90s, they repeated those on Irish TV a few years ago and they got me hooked. It's gone downhill.
btw, you guys could be the people to ask - i haven't seen Polly appear in the Bill since the explosion, was she killed?
Break it to me gently, now. . .
