There are plenty of people here that watched Red Dwarf, not just those of us from Britain. Check out the TV section ,there are several comments about Red Dwarf in the Brit-Comedy section, and in the quote thread. I thought this would be moved here soon, I'm not going to retype this though  :p

RedDwarf was soo cool! It must have been the second best sci-fi comedy (after Futurama)
One or two seasons aired in Norway a couple of years ago

I love red dwarf, and I cant wait for the movie  :) ( yes, it's confirmed, there will be a dwarf movie, for more info, go to the official site:http://reddwarf.co.uk)
Rimmer is my favorite character, although all of them were cool ( aside from kochanski) I just love the stupid bastard!

The film's bound to suck. Such is the way of comercial films, leeching of the success of a series.  :( Be the first sitcom film, though, won't it? RD's that rarest of things- a well thought out and set up sitcom. Pity season 7 and to a lesser extent 8 were shit on a biscuit. I think they were losing the plot a bit by season 5. It was still dead funny, but it was turning into more of an action adventure.

I think the last series was the worst, it was a big mistake to go back to a fully crewed Red Dwarf, it was much better when it was just the four, five counting Holly, of them. It won't be the first sit-com movie, there were a load in the '70s, and they were not as good as the shows though.

I used to love Red Dwarf when it aired. It haven't been airing in Denmark for, oh Idunno, 10-12 years.

My fave character was Kryten. I don't remeber why exactly, but I'm certain it was Kryten.

A crush on Rimmer? You're not a Female boxer, perchance, a-la Yvonne McGruder?  ;)

We don't need two Red Dwarf threads active at once.
