Duh! The Futurama's extra features are way better than the Simpsons, which only has outtakes on one episode. Not that the Simpsons DVD was bad, it was incredible. I must watch the animatic for Space Pilot 3000 and original sketches... I must get the Futurama DVD! If you go here: www.videocds.com/cartoon/futurama1-3.htm you can buy all three of the Futurama VCDs. 6 discs with all of the 1ACV episodes for only 30 bucks.

Luckily I'm English and don't have to wait any longer than the 28th, thats why in America your on about season 1 of Buffy while Englane is on season 3, not that I watch Buffy but you get my drift. It is fair though, I mean you do get them aired before us.

Besides making a DVD multiregional shouldn't be that difficult, as far as I'm informed. So just order the DVD's from Amazon.co.uk, and get your DVD-palyer "fixed". I may be wrong though, don't quote me on it. Another thing: the DVD-drives in PC's, aren't they multiregional? I don't know, so I'm actually asking here.

The other alternative is to pay for someone to chip it, depending on the model it costs around £50:00 which is about $70:00. Not many shops will chip a player and if the shop is an autherised dealer (which most are) then don't even ask.
The best option is to find a shop which sells "grey imports", basically these are players which came through differnt shipping channels and are rarely autherised by the company but exactly the same, only at cheaper prices. Don't buy a grey import but do find a shop which sells them, in England a HI*FI/Home Cinema shop called "Richer Sounds" sells them. Anyway just ask them if they can chip your player etc and they will probably get it sent away to get it chipped and it should be back within a week. If your lucky then the shop staff will be able to do it themselves.
I think that just about covers it.

Maybe get it on video if you're strapped for cash?!
I have an episode guide which says that there were 9 episodes in season 1, but the box set has 13 doesn't it? Anyone know where these extras are from?? Are they from season 2 or what?

I hope season 2 will include "War is the H word", I also hope season 3 will include AOI 2 and all the other season 3 produced episodes.

That will be the case, if they follow the pattern from the Season 1 DVD, Otis. However this will require the episodes to have actually aired at one time. And with the shabby treatment FOX is giving Futurama right now, I wouldn't be the least surprised if they still had a few unaired 3ACV episodes left in 2 years time. Stupid FOX.
