If I'm a figment of your imagination then you're the one writing Parallel Lives (and, indeed, you wrote coldy's Blame it on the Brain too - and A Different View, and JN's entire oeuvre. And all of Ralph's posts).... So when's it going to be finished?

See this is why you need to read fanfiction. :POr perhaps not... If in doubt assume it's a parallel universe. It makes things easier on the tortured brain. And then blame my wife. [This message has been edited by Archonix (edited 05-05-2008).]

I saw that episode of Red Dwarf and I don't want to get pregnant.... I could just pretend it's Girl Yesterday, Captain Yesterday's female sidekick!

I think a better name would be Corporal Yestergirl. Anyway it's nice to see good ol' Archy posting some new stuff. For a while he'd have something almost everyday and we all got spoiled by his frequent awesomeness. Very nice work by the way. Intersting choice with the drive up waitress but I like it. Must be hard to fight crime on rollerskates though, especially for somebody who's known to be rather clumsy.

A lot of people have been pointing out the inadvisable nature of the combination. I figure it would make for a few comedy moments. Thank god it'll never be animated. quote: Originally posted by winna: I saw that episode of Red Dwarf and I don't want to get pregnant.... Yeah, do that. Hell even I have problems thinking about it and I wrote the damn thing. Was I the only one that thought Lister sleeping with his entitted enbreasted alternate self was just a wee bit daft, even for him? [This message has been edited by Archonix (edited 05-06-2008).]

Although it was the beer, yes, you'd be right on the money (shot). That was *really* stupid. And then he got to pay for it. Life's fun like that. ------------------ Fry: He was a good man, Leela. Leela: Yeah...you were. - Bender's Big Score [This message has been edited by THM (edited 05-06-2008).]

So Archonix, besides A Different View, you have any other fanfics? I saw that you had mentioned another one in this thread. Let me know.

He's working on a(n absolutely brilliant) series of "episodes" called Parallel Lives right now. The first episode's complete and can be found here, and we're all on pins and needles waiting for him to start releasing episode 2.

How do you keep the upper part of that outfit from slipping, especially with all that running a superhero has to do?

The thing about superheroes is that they're able to make just about any costume work without effort. No wardrobe malfunctions, very little tearing and they [always look good in spandex. But, for reasons of practicality... I think I'll draw something else for a while now. [This message has been edited by Archonix (edited 05-11-2008).]

I think this is more likeable. It lacks the smug air of noncomedic superiority that is despicable in individuals who are, in fact, superior.

Mmmm...hot Philippa... Once again, Mr. A, you've done a bang-up job. It'd be neat to have a clone of you working on stuff (I'm sure your wife wouldn't mind two of you around - you'd be able to get the chores done faster :P ), but as that's not possible, we'll appreciate what you do put out, and be patient for anything else. BTW, nice work on the new episode of 'Paralell Lives'. Neat alternate costume. As for how she'd fight in the original...they have a special costume tape for occasions like that, don't they? Or there's spirit gum. (And yes, I do realise I'm overthinking this. :P ) ------------------ Fry: He was a good man, Leela. Leela: Yeah...you were. - Bender's Big Score

Oh, yes, the thought had occurred to me that she would have some invisible superbra with super tape, but still when you have those breasts supertaped it actually does not do the job and could hurt you in the long run if you wanna have kids - at least when you are a lady and try to do all those super hero actions- you realize fast your breasts will not hold up to general physics- you can be a heroine, but if you wanna be a mom, too, some superhero things are not going to be possible and slow you down... that is why I love the Archonix modifications- he has built that in that Phi still is an active super hero... and may someday be a mother, too, so you have to build those modifications in. Go, Archonix! [This message has been edited by FordMustang (edited 05-11-2008).]
