Tyraniak; no I don't really do any other video-game fanart, although I'd not be adverse to trying out Solid Snake one day... but this isn't the place for too much of that.

Zmithy; Haha, I think you're right... A little bit too much of myself comes across in the male heroes I draw (this is either self-indulgent or utterly pathetic), and so they inevitably end up a little angry or gloomy. The other aspect is that any hero-types I draw are supposed to be pitted against some mortal foe (even unseen), thus they glare in determined defiance.
This is not the Fry we know, I acknowledge. My hero-worshipping has added a warrior element which, as you suggest, may need toning down.

In 'The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings', Fry's opera depicts him and Bender going up against Godzilla. This was most likely a flight of fancy on Fry's part, but I thought it'd make a cool drawing.

That is, of course, the original Japanese incarnation of Godzilla, as opposed to the bastardized American version from the movie you just quoted.

Speaking of the Godzilla pic-wow, nice job, eh. Looks like Fry and Bender are in a barrel of shit, dere. And the background looks sweet, too. Reminds me of the whack at Godzilla I took, only minus the terror, color, and excellantness.
