As much as we love Leela, ya gotta admit, a real cyclops would be something -- very strange to imagine. The animators did a great job of making Leela be beautiful, but human prejudice being what it is, a real cyclops would have as tough (if not tougher) life as Leela. It would go a long way to explain her personality and attitude. Kudos to the people that attempt to make 'realistic' Leela pics.

If someone does a Leela picture(A realistic one) that's how the people in the show would see her hence some of their reactions to her. Same as a Sally(Three ears and a Tail)and any other mutants.

Remember 'Love Labors Lost In Space', Leela was sitting at a table in the bar at closing time, all her friends had left with someone - she was sitting with her head down, alone - the janitor said 'How come a good looking...' she looks up and he sees her eye, he screams 'Sorry, I thought you had 2 eyes'. It may have been funny to watch, but a person with a defect (as she sees it) like this would play hell with the self-esteem. I have often called Leela 'The Poster Child For Prozac', but seeing the abuse that she has gotten in life, her tough exterior is there to protect her from more hurt. It also figures that she suffers from low self esteem, which is why she constantly chases 'important men' to date. Something for all us to think about when we see someone that looks 'different'. Yes... That was a lot of writing. Maybe you should start a topic about it?Anyway here's some fan art. This is an Amy one I did. Don't worry I'm doing another one but this is just a space and time filler... And it has been pointed out to me that it is scary I don't know what anyone else thinks so yeah...

Wow Demeter awesome Professy! It's still in the works. Turns out it's finished. I didn't get to enter. Damn it. Anyway it was the quote one. Where you had to draw a picture from a quote in the show. Mine from when he goes "And to celebrate we'll have pancakes and I'll be all like..." or something like that
