The eye, as Leela's is, is actually like 20 times bigger, well not really but :P, and the size is around 'a catelope' but I see what you're saying.

I noticed that your KP art was a little outta whack, but no complaints. Ron was funny with his mouth stuffed with chocolate. The one eyed girl who will someday look like Leela is strange to me, but it's interesting.

I went on your deviantart account and saw that 'quest for improvement' piece where you show the difference between your art a year ago and your art now. All i can say is how the hell did you do that? Did you take classes? Just randomly draw stuff? How did you improve that much over such a short period of time?

Randomly drawing stuff! I mean, I kind of feel strange that I've improved that much over the past year, without it feeling that way. Plus, I have been drawing every day for the past year and... a half I think it is now, without fail. So it's just a lot of drawing and finding things that help you futher yourself.Sadly, practice is the only way :P

It's really hard to do a 'real life' Leela. The eye has to be HUGE and her head has to be enlarged to accomodate this occular oddity. The trick with Leela is to make her head just the right size - large enough to accomodate the eye, but not so large that she looks like she's suffering from hydroencephelas. Otherwise, her head would be so large she would look like the big-head creatures on the Star Trek pilot.

Please, don't take my comments to seriously. I ramble on and on... But I agree with Ralph on this. I'd probably have liked the Leela picture if the eye had been a tad bigger. As for me, I draw often, but not everyday. Whenever school forces me to or when I have time. All my teachers are amazed at my skills (which I think still have much room for improvement if I do say so myself) but my stuff isn't always a hundred percent. I've already drawn Fry a billion times and Leela as well. For projects and just out of sheer boredom. Heck, I even put Leela in a marching band outfit on Friday. (I'll scan that one in sometime..)

I get the same reaction, along with "WIll you draw me _____!?" and teachers are often stunned too. My friends are all pretty unimpressed by my art, one's even admitedly jealous, but I don't draw for them anymore :P I will be revisiting the manipulation and making her bigger.

Well, it's not that I so much draw them for others, but I remember last school year, loads asked me to do a portrait of them in Groening-styled artwork. Yes, I did some, and let me tell you, it was tough. I was the fact so many were awaiting the day I'd draw them in art class when I had time (ok, not really that many... maybe six max) or when they felt it convenient, so the thought of having to keep a promise and do it swiftly bugged me. Though i have done some for PEELers too...

You know, I'd go order a comission but I'm trying to avoid Gaia right now. It took over my life a little too much... to put it in Gaia words...
Main plus two mules. ATer; I gotta have the best, best=gold, gold=time, time=wasted bumping, chatting, rating etc...Then I switched to here. It's so brilliant, you can miss half a week and you haven't missed out on some update or whatever! *freedom dance* On topicnessish: Fantastic pic of Leia, so cleverly detailed... Do one of Luke! Thanks you two ^^ As for the people pictures, it's practice.Oh and PS I am starting an art course next term at a proper art college ^___^ with my peers ^_____^ in RL ^__________^ (two weeks from now... well three but meh :P) I have phases where ONE SITE will tkae my fancy for a few days then I never go there again. At the moment it's Gaia and I'm starting the cycle again at RP sites. Luke?

Now you've gotten that song stuck in my head. (hums Icky Vicky out of boredom and just because) Very funny and good artwork. Seeing her clothes too small for her is funny and her looking down at them like "what just happened?!?" makes it neato. That, and the shading.

No idea if I have posted this or not, but ah well.  XD. Um alright, I have been really busy lately, as per usual. I got into the art school, I;'ve been 'studying' for exams and just all round busy :P But now, well at school I have 3 periods a week in which I am CARTOONING! Yes, my art classes have FINALLY become something I will enjoy :3
