A Mary-Sue (or Gary Stu) isn't always neccessarily an author insertion. Any character that is too perfect beyond words and can seem to do no wrong, usually being a romantic interest as well, is a Mary-Sue. It's always been my view that a perfect character isn't. Everybody has weaknesses, even the best of us. And fan-made characters should have them too.

In case anyone's interested why my re-write's taking so long is that one of my initial characters I think can safely be said is a Gary Stu.

Well I've nearly finished the first act, which is by far the most meaty - after that, a lot of the next two acts are getting trimmed.

Well the initial one was 194,138 words long, or nearly 2 million, whichever you want, and also 368 A4 pages long. My betas were sort of split on the issue - most suggested trimming of some degree, some more than others. I've decided not to cut out huge chunks, just re-tell the story, which will require me re-writing it from scratch. Already I've missed out on a few parts of the story, skipping them over with brief explanations or discriptions (ones that still work of course). And then I may go add a few more lines to another scene, and it's only just gone under the word count of the original so far 
It'll still need to be beta'ed again, just to make sure I haven't been a complete pillock, but hopefully that stage will be completed in the next few months. And then, onto the next one, which I already started a bit of, and am very confident about already.

Jennifer Garner, cool. Again Fryfan, been there read that, was really there looking for something of mine. Nicely done as always, extra points for using Jennifer Garner. And for anyone else, call me a homo anyway, I'm trying to become a hippie. Hopefully, hopefully, by tomorrow, Teral will put up my new fan fic. And I know I said it was a drama and it wasn't gory, guess what? I LIED! There actually will be some violence. But I still think it'll be different fromt my previous fics. And once I'm done with this one, back to my sequels!

So, I was looking at my finished script when I realized it was more than 70 pages long (movie script format). As soon as I figure out how to break it up into digestible chunklets I'll post it. Aside from sucking, improper divisions were one of the major flaws of the first one.

Currently I am working on two fanfics, "The Road to Fanzipar" and one that's a surprise! I'm working on the surprise one first, and maybe later this year, I'll write the Fanzipar one, and Cult 55. All I can reveal about the surprise one is it's kind of a 'shipper-fic' between Fry and Leela!

Fry and Leela will have to do what they can so Kim and Ron can meet the person who's their only hope of ever getting back to their time. Cubert tries to put the moves on Kim and this part marks the SpyOrama return of an old character from my first SpyOrama. |

That's funny, weren't you one of the people who said you didn't like Kim Possible? I'm really asking, because I remember a lot of people saying that here. I actually did like that Kim Possible crossover story. I like any story that involves a crossover, I even like fanfics that crossover with The Simpsons! I'm not a fan of the show, however. Speaking of fanfics, my surprise one 'Up the Down Potion' is up the The Leela Zone aka Futurama Madhouse. Feel free to read it, and let me know what you think. I'm open to comments, questions, and criticisms as well. Hope you will like it.

I like your fanfic. It is a touchy subject though. Fry dead and Leela thinking about erasing him from her memory. I feel a little sad, I hope things turn out for the better in part 2.
