The following models are what I've spent the last few weeks on. They're all made and rendered in 3ds max. Enjoy!

Here's my model of the PE building. You may notice that I left out the windows on the side of the tower, but I'm truly not experienced enough to make them look good.

Here's a hovercar/spaceship, inspired by the Planet Express ship:

Finally, my model of the guy in my avatar:

I'd appreciate any suggestions or constructive criticism. Thanks!

Those are awesome. I wish I could give you some suggestions, but I know nothing about 3D animation.

Few windows are missing on the PE building, but that's very nice job you've made there. Can you make the outlines go black? (forgot what that techneque (sp?) is called)

Edit: Next time I'll read the text that comes with the pictures

Those are insanely awesome.  They would most likely bring my old VRML models back from the dead and then shame them to death.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! I'm almost done making bender, and I'm gonna make cel shaded versoins of the models too.

That'd be awesome. We could share models and put together a 3d episode (or something). The one robot I made doesn't have bones yet, but I'm going to try to figure out how to use them.

Cel shade the planet express building and it could almost look exactly like the building in the show's 3d shots

YAY,
perhapps you should try to import the 3ds files into poser5, i do it that way,
there is a easy bone making tool.
It would also be better if we make the movies
in the same programm.

I just have to agree totally. Ecspecially that "the magic" part.
In my opinion you 3D-artists are all computer-wizzards.

I love the pics hobo, the hovership looks cool, you get a real sense of speed. A space battle using ships along those lines would be awsome!

Ok, I've officially decided that I hate 3dsm's cel shader. I seriously spent hours making the outlines come out right. Here's what I ended up with:

Also, here's my bender. Sorry that I didn't put the lines around his arms and legs, I was in a hurry.
The normal version:

The cel shaded version:

First i have to say that those really look incredible
especially the model of the PE building,
and benders face couldn't look better  ;)
but perhapps you should make his legs a bit thicker

"where can I download Poser 5?"
It's not a cheap programm, you have to buy it,
but perhapps you can figure out a way to get it "cheaper"  ;)

Oi dude nice tricks! Iv been using MAX 5 fora few years now and know most of this stuff but ur modeling is pretty darn spiffy! With the cell shading try turning the ink up to 3 and the and getting shadows...on the ink also mabey chng e the colour of the outlines to that of a darker colour....bender is goooood but the body is a bit big for his head- also mabey try using plain colours.....not cell/ with lighting and turning the self allumination up to like 80- also try usinga globyl allumination rig or brazill renderer is free-

U can get POSER 5 from Kazzaa or any other P2P prog- as with MAX 5.
Oi dude! try using less bright more neutal colours and put a tranparent texture on the windows or somthing.....some nice lighting would go down a treat......erm u seem to know how to use combustion and particles and clth simulations so sweet! CAN U MAKE BENDER WITH FLAME CMING OUTTA HIS MOUTH....PLEAZZZZ

Deathknight: Thanks for the tips, I'll use them next time I use the cel shader. Here's a bender burping:

In the meantime, I'm making an animation of the ship I made fighting another ship. I'll try to make the PE ship or Zoidberg, but I'm seriously not very good at box modeling, so it might take me a while.

...but, anyway...

I would absolutely love it if you did a Zoidberg... and don't be so modest, I'm sure it would look awesome. Everything else in this thread does. I'm sure Zoidy would just add more appeal with his... um... crustacean-ness.  :D
