I was thinking of writing a fanfic where Zoidberg accidentally kills someone and throws the body in a dumpster. He tries to cover it up but the crew becomes increasingly suspicious. The man my not be really dead or could possibly revived by the Professor. What do you think of the idea? Would you like to read it if it was written?

Seems a little morbid/dark.  Depends on the angle you play it.

I know; that's why I was thinking about Farnsworth reviving him. It would be kind of like the 30% Iron Chef subplot or the episode of Spongebob Squarepants where they think they killed the health inspector.

EDIT- The first bit is now done! I will most likely revise some of it, but here's the first draft. My working title is "Zoid Scene Investigation".

It was a lazy Thursday afternoon as Dr. John Zoidberg prepared for his next patient. He looked down his checklist as he went over his supplies.

“Stethoscope, check. Blood bucket, check. Vaccination, check!”

He heard a knock on the door and pushed a button open it. A man who appeared to be in his thirties stood outside.

“Are you the doctor?” asked the man. “I’m here for a three o’ clock appointment.”

Zoidberg led the man to the doctor’s table for inspection. “Excellent, excellent! Now what’s your name, young man?”

“Carl West,” he replied. “And I should warn you, I get nervous around doctor’s tools. When I got my career chip in I nearly fainted, and last year at the dentist I-”

“That’s nice,” Zoidberg interrupted. “So what’s been ailing you? Sore claw? Maybe your stink gland isn’t performing up to par?”

“Actually, my throat’s been bothering me. I tried taking some Tylinex and it didn’t help much.”

Zoidberg grabbed his stethoscope and put it up to his patient’s chest. “Ah, yes, remembering has taken place! Now breathe deep. And again…”

“How’s it sound, doc?”

“Your gills seem to be making an awful lot of noise. And with your complaints of pain, I’m afraid it may be gill rot!” His patient stared blankly. “Luckily, Zoidberg has just the thing prepared. A painful injection! Just like any good doctor would use!”

The man recoiled in fear. Zoidberg referenced his upside-down human anatomy poster. “Hm… The needle should go right here, maybe,” he said as he placed a pushpin into his poster.

“What are you gonna do with that?!” asked his patient.

“Why, insert it into your gills, of course,” Zoidberg replied. “That’s where you put gill rot vaccines, is it not?”

“BUT I DON’T THINK-”

Zoidberg injected the fluid before he could finish. His patient’s body rolled over onto the floor. “Is falling supposed to happen? OH NO! Something bad has happened to Mr. Carl!”

Don't worry-it's not as morbid as this first piece makes it seem.   ;)

You should make it that Australian guy... bad stuff always happens to that dude (and he did say he goes to Dr. Zoidberg :lol :).... I think Zoidberg would actually EAT a dead body rather than let it go to waste....

Then he can say "Mate" instead of "dude"- or leave hints that its that guy.

The next part's done. Enjoy!    :)

Later that day, Zoidberg had decided to hide the corpse of his patient somewhere in New New York City. He was filled with emotions… Guilt, fear, anger, hunger! He just didn’t know what else to do! He started pulling the bag with the body out the door as Amy walked up to him.

“Oh, Zoidberg! Can I borrow a pen?” she asked. “I asked Hermes and he was out of the form to- Hey… What’s in that bag?”

“NOTHING! I’m leaving!” Zoidberg shouted. He proceeded to spray Amy with ink and run away wooping.

All Amy did was let out a confused “G’uh?”

That night was a dark and stormy one. Zoidberg stood over a dumpster and dropped the makeshift body bag in. “Goodbye friend. I’ll miss you.” He stared for second. “Don’t tell anybody about our little secret, okay?” He closed the dumpster lid and looked around for a few minutes. After hearing someone open a door, he scuttled out of the alley and into the darkness.

The next morning at work Amy told the others what happened.

“So he just ran off?” Leela asked.

“S’plahuh! And he left me covered in his disgusting ink, too!”

“Sounds mighty suspicious,” Hermes added.

“Professor,” Fry said. “You’ve known Dr. Zoidberg longer than any of us. What do you think?”

“Who? Where am I?”

“Look, we’ve gotta get those capes to Vampire13 before nightfall, and sitting here isn’t helping us get there faster,” Leela stated.

“Okay,” Hermes said. “Meeting adjourned.”

As Fry, Leela, and Bender walked up the stairs to board the ship, Bender added, “If you ask me we’re overdo for a clam bake.”

I actually thought of making it the Australian guy, but I don't like it when fanfics basically seem like long references to other episodes. Besides, he's still doing hard labor at the "spa".   :p

Sorry for the double post.  :hmpf: I didn't wanna have one huge one and end up with just one unreadable mass. Anyway, in our next installment of Zoidberg's story, he has to tell a lie to get away from everyone finding out his secret. Will he get away with it? Even I don't know because I haven't written the next part yet. Enjoy!

It was a few hours before Zoidberg finally showed up for work. As he entered the building, Amy and Hermes confronted him.

“Zoidberg, mon! You’re exactly three hours and 42 minutes late for work!” Hermes declared.

“You ruined my new sweat suit,” Amy exclaimed. “…and my hair!”

“Friends, I can explain!” Zoidberg said. “I overslept! My alarm clock failed to wake me, it did!”

“You don’t have an alarm clock, ya filthy crab!” Hermes shouted. “Ya don’t even have a house!”

Amy added, “I think you were up to something last night, you zidiot Zoidberg. Was there stolen money in that bag?”

“No!”

“Well it’s not like there was a dead body in there!”

“No! I mean… Zoidberg had the bag because he was… Delivering mail!”

“You were what?!” Amy asked.

“That’s right, Zoidberg got a second job as your local mailperson! I was sleeping late because I was so hungry after all the walking and the bag carrying and had to stop somewhere and eat!”

“Well, his story sounds good,” Amy admitted.

“But why didn’t ya fill out the second job form like you’re supposed to?” Hermes asked.

“Because, um… Zoidberg was ashamed of how poor he is, maybe?”

“Alright…” Hermes said. “But don’t ya let this new job get in the way of your old one, or ya won’t have either!”

I also made a picture of the doctor's office scene. Sorry it's horrid; it's my first time doing any real art on the computer, plus I was only using Microsoft Paint. Have a nice day, and I hope you're liking the story!   ;)

I like where this is going, but i think it could be more funny, but why would hermes care what zoidberg does?

Sorry I haven't updated this recently. I've been on vacation. As to why Hermes cares what Zoidberg does, isn't it probable that he wants a good excuse to fire him? Anyway, when I write the next part, I'll edit it onto this post.
