This is something I realized quite a while ago, but just now got around to posting it. When everyone is in the movie theater, The Lucy Liu Erotic Assassins break through the screen with the same scene as seen before the robots broke in. It is when they are over the coffin once again. Has anyone else realized this?

Why won't it last long?  All the super anal retentive nerds (who I adore and look up to very much) will figure it out within .00001 seconds?

There is obviously some sort of problem with the space time continuum.

Where is Al Gore when you need him?

::internet bots read Davey's post, a signal travels down through the wires, to a satellite dish, up to a satellite, and down to the Pentagon, a man in uniform grabs a printout and dashes off to Al Gore's office::
Officer: "Mr Gore, Someone finally found you funny!"
Gore: "This calls for celebration." (Puts on record, Kool 'n The Gang's "Celebrate Good Times...." plays) "I will."

But yeah, he had some funny scenes.

I must go now, to help collect cans on Jupiter. Peace out, y'all!

I think it was even funnier listening to the commentaries that described him really getting into all the voice acting.

Not something you would expect a Vice-President(At the time) to do.

They do those animation shortcuts a lot though. In many episodes, when the gang are in the lounge watching All My Circuits, you may notice that it's the exact same episode from "I, Roommate" where Calculon proposes to Monique. WMIBACIL is definitely an example and I think Route Of All Evil is as well.

Animation studios do this a lot because it cuts costs.

And also man hours.

From the commentaries, I think from the Critic:
Jean: [to Moore] What does a supervising director do?
Moore: I work those animators hard! Faster! Funnier!

Well, the movie director figured that the average viewer of a film like "Charlie's Angels 3" wouldn't notice if they put in the same scene several times.

It's a cartoon, it's not like we were actually watching the movie. Besides it didn't look good.

Maybe (I don't really know Office Space), but then it wouldn't be a Simpsons quote.  ;)

That was a different song, one by Ice Cube, I believe though I cannot rememeber the title, with the copier in the field.  Damn It Feels Good to Be a Gangsta was when Peter was going into work all Zenned out and like, drilling out the doorknob and stuff.   :)

My fax machine at work says "pc load letter" all the time.  I HATE IT.        :)

I did notice that, but I didn't really think about it as they obviously just didn't want to animate the rest of the film when it was blurred anyway.

maybe robosexual (mentioned by bender when he first meets fry) is when a man and a manbot or a woman and a fembot are in a relationship, not when its a man and fembot, or vis versa

Yes, but I think it's not being a robosexual only when dating those "celebrity" robots, because the movie mentioned impressing the same sex.  It might not be considered a robosexual relationship for a man to date a celebrity manbot or whatever. I think that robosexuals are a man+true manbot (like Smitty and URL) and females+true fembot.

If you look at the sign outside the cinema, it says "Now showing the 2008 (I think) classic - Charlie's Angels III: The Secret of Charlie's Gold". She still had a body at the time the movie was filmed.

Maybe the scene is playing twice because the force of the Lucy Liu robots breaking through the screen caused the film tape to skip back a few minutes or something?

Ah, just a suggestion. I think VoVat's theory made the most sense, anyway.   :p

Quick question, how can the earth have been attacked and whatnot from everyone making out with the robots hundreds of years before fry was...   Or was it less than hundreds till he made out..  either way hows that possible if the professor invented their robots just around half sentury earlier?

since earth was destroyed , most technology up till then, including robots would have been lost, or at least set back a couple hundred years.

everytime it did, the survivors just had to refigure out lost technology. farnsworth merely 're-invented' robots.

It wasn't.  That was a propaganda film about the consequences of humans dating robots.  It was showing what would happen if everyone dated robots, not something that actually had happened.

Farnsworth didn't invent robots, he just improved upon the existing designs.  He made the first alcohol-powered robot, and also the first robot able to qualify for a boat loan.  The robots in the propaganda film probably weren't alcohol-powered or able to qualify for boat loans.
