When Leela opens the door to her "underfurnished" apartment its white, yet when Fry leaves her bedroom the room has changed colour.

I dont buy it. With Leela being so dull and impulsive i doubt that she would purchase as anything as exciting as colour changing wall paper.

Maybe Fry, with his newfound genius, desided to develop its criminal side, and merely took Leela to her bedroom to distract her, whilst an accomplice, probably Bender, lifted everything in the joint... including the wall paper. The cad! The bounder!

The paper when from greyish white to yellowish beige.  That's not all that exciting, really.

It's the same room. I agree that it's mood changing wall paper and maybe it was the people that had the appartment before Leela that put the wall paper up.
