Interesting... I'm sure I've seem pictures where he doesn't. A mistake from the animators maybe?

It is an early episode... Perhaps he had teeth for a short time in the first season? Animators still deciding? Maybe it was even a screen test? It could be tons of things, but yes, alexvilagosh has the most likely reason, it was probably just an early mistake.

Where is it said Decapodians have no teeth?
In "Why Must I Be a Crustacean In Love", Edna states that she brushes her teeth.

Zoidberg has teeth right from his first scene in TSHL (1ACV02), and doesn't lose them until either Fear of a Bot Planet or My Three Suns.  I guess he just started off with teeth and they decided it looked wrong.

It does look wrong! (IMO)

And yeah, the speed he finished that table of food? He wasn't exactly savouring each mouthful, was he?! Too hungry I guess.

Actually...the teeth of a lobster are in its stomach. The stomach is located a very short distance from the mouth, and the food is actually chewed in the stomach between three grinding surfaces that look like molar surfaces, called the "gastric mill". Thus, Zoidburg probably does have teeth...but not in his mouth.

Yah, but lobsters don't have arms, legs, or wear labcoats either.

he doesn't have teeth. but how can you explain how he eats live creatures and they don't kill him form the inside? on a side note, how come he doesn't die after that overdose of salt in the episode where they go to that planet with the people made of water, and 3 suns.

Welcome to PEEL, Smon!

Sheep555 stated earlier that a lobster's teeth are in it's stomach.  Since Zoidberg is a crustacean, this is most likely the same case with him.  Besides, the digestive tract isn't exactly a liveable environment either, so nothing could survive in there, teeth or not.
On the "My Three Suns" episode, Bender could have only been refering to the salt tolerance level for humans when he commented on the lethality of the salt content.  Since Zoidberg is a sea invertebrate, and is able to survive under the ocean unaided, he must certainly have to have a significantly higher salt tolerace level than that of a human.

Zoidberg is lobsterlike, but he's also supposed to be squidlike (he has an ink pouch, etc).  In particular, his head is very squid- or cuttlefish-like.  So maybe we shouldn't expect him to resemble a lobster as far as teeth go.  But squids have beaks, and Zoidberg obviously doesn't.

the point is, that zoidberg has teeth, we've seen them and i cant imagine an instance where we can specifically say RIGHT THERE HE CLEARLY HAS ZERO TEETH.  so whats the problem?

One instance I can think of is that in "Roswell That Ends Well", after Zoidberg has eaten all the food left out for him, he sucks on the glass window that the military is observing him from.  We can see Zoidberg has no teeth in his mouth.

Farnswerth was using Zoidberg as a test subject and it had the temporary side effect of teeth. The formula for the experiment goes as follows:
Zoidbers's feeler thingies on his mouth X The amount of bone marrow in ounces Fry has, divided by X = teeth. X being a wizard of course.

Hey, Mango may have something here.
Is it possible, that one of Zoidberg's scavenges through the garbage resulted in him finding a discarded pair of Farnsworth's dentures?
Maybe he found them there; and decided that all his friends had teeth, so why not Zoidberg?
Then, he possibly lost the dentures by the later episodes?

Actually, Eps 2,3 and 4 of McSeason one all have pics of Zoidberg with teeth...
I cant see his teeth in any of the later eps, just a idea that got cut, me thinks.

Nah, Rough Draft Studios just got a lot more Japanese contracts. In anime, half the chracters have purple hair/fur/skin (rather than just the one), so they couldn't spare the extra purple anymore.
