Since the other topic might end up getting crowded with messages, it seems a good idea to start a new Futurama Cuts UK thread here.
I haven't seen the next few episodes C4 will show - The Cryonic Woman, Parasites Lost and Amazon Women in the Mood - for ages, and haven't taped them on Sky so it'll be impossible to work out all the cuts by myself.
So, if any of you notice cuts to The Cryonic Woman this Wednesday, post them here and I'll credit you with them on the site.

Given that C4 haven't butchered episodes yet this season, what do you reckon will get cut out of The Cryonic Woman? (or, The One Where Fry meets his girlfriend from the 20th century who got frozen too)

wrong, the hacked up 'War is the H-word' pretty bad. They even cut out 'Pimpmobile' in Benders top ten list, quite badly aswell   :nono:

War is the H-Word contained so many risque moments that I think they did a pretty good job. There was plenty of unnecessary moments they could've cut out. The shower cubicle scene for example...

I know cutting out 'pimpmobile' and 'porno mag' was unnecessary, but considering the previous cuts by C4 this was a very good sign for the future. www.geocities.com/futurama_cuts/WITHW

I was surprised as well. With Bender's line "Enough of this crap!" I expected them to just cut it to 'Enough of this!'. 'Twas a funny episode though  :)

Not even when Bender comes out from a little "robot action" with the probulator? Seems like censorship-levels are dropping.

There wasn't any real "obsenity" in the episode that I saw.

"I'm sterring the ship with my ass!" was left in and so was Bender's "robot action". I think I remember a scene that jumped so that could have been a cut. Or I might be thinking of something else....

I noticed a few things like that - although most will be the same as the original version and not cuts, hopefully someone might notice a difference from the original. www.geocities.com/futurama_cuts/TCW

Some things:

Quote
Hey Fry, I’m steering with my ass

Actually Bender says it just like that, followed by Fry's "That's the best thing I've ever seen!!"

Quote
We don’t need to beg, Bender, (screws his heads back on) for God’s sake, we’re not ?bedrends?.

Thanks for that.

Anyone think there was anything cut out when Leela, Bender and Professor step off the ship to meet Fry in the second-last scene? The Professor shifts positions within the space of a frame.
I've put what we saw & heard on C4 on  www.geocities.com/futurama_cuts/TCW

HERE WAS A SUSPICIOUS SEQUENCE (AS SEEN ON C4)

The PX ship lands next to Fry, and Leela, Professor and Bender walk out:

LEELA   Fry! Thank God we found you!
FRY       Leela! What are you guys doing in the year 4000?
(Professor walks on at the side of the screen, and changes position quickly)

I'm not sure whether something was cut here, or it's just sloppy work in the production. My version does the "Farnsworth shuffle" as well, and they're usually uncensored. So, I'm guessing animation glitch on this one.

I was severly disappointed by the cryonic woman... it borke the continuity of the series, with Fry Leela and Bender not getting back their old jobs at the end, and also once the ship is (presumeably) in motion, Fry gets dumped out> wouldn't he be dead???

It breaks the grand rule of all TV as well, at the end, nothing has gone back to normal.

Plus, I did't like to see Fry mistreated by the woman he rediscovered after 1000 years, even after he accepted all her foibles, etc. and welcomed her back. the show was disturbing... Bad episode  :nono:

Having said that, I look forward to Parasites Lost.

Maybe the lack of continuity was some kind of in-house joke, like in When Alians Attack.

Also, while Michelle was doubtlessly annoying, the episode did have its good points. I'm assuming Bender and Leela got their jobs back in the 2 days that Fry and Michelle were frozen as they flew to LA in the PE ship and all. And don't forget she ran off with an idiotic movie star. The thing I dont get is since when have Hermes, Amy or Zoidberg been able to fly the ship?

Also I look forward to seeing Parasites Lost too.

Amy's been able to fly the ship since the second episode.

And Amy flies the ship inside of Fry in "Parasites Lost." (Nice segway, no?)

I do have a feeling that, from what I've heard about UK cuts, there will be a lot of PL cut out for 'decency'. Most obviously, Zoidberg's "You'll never guess where I've been!" line.

Sad.

It's a bit of a gross episode, but if they keep 'balls thoroughly licked' in, they'll keep the idea of Fry going up his own backside in, right?

By the way, I've got a theory about why the censors aren't cutting Futurama so badly - it's because their censorship work's being done on 'Alias', which they show on Sunday late afternoons, now.
I don't watch it, but they cut 5 1/2 minutes out of the first episode. See

I thought that was pretty silly too but I decided to bend my head around it and make an excuse.

Fry slid down the inside of the ship

___l_______/_/

So the couch is L, \ is the windscreen, / is the inner and outer shell of the ship, l is a wall to other rooms in the ship and = and _ are floors. Fry is *. He slides down the inside of the ship and lands in a crumpled yet still living heap right at the bottom.

I hope that diagram comes out right.

I noticed something wierd. First, the prof is says" Look, it's the-" Then, we see Leela pea shooting something into Fry. Then, we go back into Fry's body with the prof showing the crew somrthing totally different. It was quite quick so it really confused me. I didn't think the episode was any good anyway. War is the H word has been the only good episode so far.

No, when he fell through the hole, we saw the New New York landscape underneath. Fry definately fell into the open space.

I looked at alt.tv on Google and found a couple of possibilities for what Guy spotted:

-------
-------
Prof.:    Here's the plan: We'll enter the ear drip down the back of the
throat and make for the bowel. There, we'll irritate the pelvic
splanchnic ganglion and cause an intestinal spasm expelling, among
          other things the parasites.
Bender:   I'll tell Fry to wash out, among other things, his ear.
Prof.:    No! Fry can't know anything about the mission. If he finds out, the
worms will try to defend themselves. They know everything he knows.
Bender:   They know how to make ice cream soup?
Prof.:    [To Leela, who's looming over all them, as she's not a microdroid]
Leela, your role is to distract Fry so he doesn't notice what we're
          up to.
Leela:    [In a deep powerful voice] Can do!
Amy:      Leela, you should really try a facial scrub for your pores.

Leela blows on her, sending her flying. In the other room, Fry drinks a can after can of slurm. Leela comes in.

Leela:    Look, a starling.
Fry:      Really?

He turns to look. Leela spits the tiny Planet Express ship out of a tube into his ear.
Inside the ear.

Prof.:    Shh. Be very quiet. We're in the ear.
Amy:      Okay, Professor.
Prof.:    [Loudly] What!

--------
OR...
--------
The ship flies through the bowel and finally reaches the worm city.

Prof.:    There it is: the stately capital of Fry's bowel a heavily guarded fortress surrounding the pelvic splanchnic ganglion.
Zoidberg: I've heard of that. Who said I haven't?
Prof.:    If we can stimulate that nerve the bowel will convulse expelling the entire worm society.
Hermes:   But what about the worms in other parts of his body?
Prof.:    Listen, this is going to be one hell of a bowel movement. Afterwards, he'll be lucky if he has any bones left.
Bender:   All right, let's mush some worms. [Reloads and makes the first shot]
Wormking: Worms, to battle stations!
Worms start shooting back.

Outside. Fry and Leela are drinking tea in a cafe nearby Planet Express. Fry crumbles some bread for the owls sitting nearby.

Leela:    I had a great time today...
--------
--------

So, it could be one of them. I didn't see the episode (what a reliable site-owner I am!) so don't know if they kept them in. Did they?
