i apoligize if this has already been posted before, it probably has seeing as it was in the first episode, but
did anyone notice in "Space Pilot 3000" you can see the shadow of Nibbler, right before Fry falls into the freezing chamber thing???

I was watching that ep yesterday and it was the first time i noticed that, just thought it was wierd. Did Nibbler push him or something?  and what the hell was he doing in the year 2000 anyway?? (wizard?)

The "Nibbler shadow" is quite infamous now. There's more.

Didn't the Simpsons just do that? Homer on Marjuana.

Maybe it was one of the scenes we didn't see in "Bendin' in the Wind".

Something like that. Homer called marijuana "yes-I-canibis" when he told Marge that because of it, he'd been promoted.
And speaking of Nibbler, where has he been this season? We only saw him in "A Tale of Two Santas" and that was supposed to be last year's Xmas special.

Brainsluggo: It was the Brain Spawn, not the Brain Balls. The Brain Balls were the leaders of the Ball-People in "War is the H-Word."

Ah, that's true. I've often wondered if the two might be related. They both travel through space unaided; the primary difference between the two would be that the relatively-benign Brain Balls were minding their own business when Earth/DOOP attacked their planet and drove them away--an issue which was brought up but never touched (hmmmmmmmm). We never even found out why the war took place.

Ah, Nixonian Logic. I'm not wired for that; I have to hit myself on the head really hard over and over again.

Hey, could Futurama's mistreatment be part of the GOP's desperate, endless attempts to whitewash their history? Because if yNIXON WAS GOOD. NIXON WAS SMART. NIXON SAVED US ALL FROM ETERNAL DAMNATION. WE ARE DOING THIS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. WE DO EVERYTHING FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. YOU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL. NIXON WAS GOOD. DAN QUAYLE WAS SMART. GEORGE BUSH WAS NOT A MISERABLE FAILURE. RONALD REAGAN WAS NOT OFF HIS ROCKER. YOUR ATTITUDE HAS BEEN NOTED. WE WILL DEAL WITH YOU SHORTLY.    :D

Man, that sounds like a great episode, but just like "Leela's Homeworld," it should probably be a Season 10 sort of thing . . .

This is some deep stuff. Man, hope that ep doesn't reveal too much...it will pretty much make the show jump the shark if it did. Akin to revealing the origins of Zapp's sex-pervert tendencies.

Your sig right now looks mysterious as it is--who is that mustachioed man?

Not shown yet.

The audio commentaries seem fairly recent, but cannot take into consideration FOX's bizarre "Futurama-is-heavily-backlogged-so-let's-start-the-season-late-end-it-early-and-show-King-Of-The-Hill-reruns-three-or-four-times-a-week" strategy. (Which only makes sense this one way: FOX desperately wants the show deader'n hell.) When Groening says something will be shown in two or three seasons, I'm sure he can only be talking about production seasons--of which we are still seeing Season Three holdovers--as opposed to airing seasons--of which this is technically Season Four.

Anybody remember where the list of remaining episodes is? I know there's one out there, I just can't remember where...

One thing you've got to say about Futurama, they've really put some thought into it.  Nibbler's shadow in the first episode, his sudden appearance in "Love's labours Lost in Space" just as the PE ship needed some dark matter,  Leela's parents (apparently) turning up in the crowd scene in "I Second that Emotion", and the sudden twist in "Luck of the Fryrish".  They're some of the cleverest things I've seen on TV, although now I feel stupid.

Hm, I'm having no trouble...try going directly to The Leela Zone, where the page comes from, or, if you're using WinME like me (hah! suckers!) you might need to reboot to free up some memory as it pops up in a new window.

Alternative List

When all else fails, go to Google.com and enter "futurama upcoming episodes" or something similar.

This is very weird. Here's some things to try; let us know if any of this works, or how far you get if it doesn't.

1) Hit the "Leela Zone" button which probably appears at the top or bottom of this page, or directly enter the address (http://www.leela.com.ar/). If you get in, look under "Information" for "Upcoming Episodes."

2) Do you have "anti-ad/anti-pop-up" software? (If you don't--you should.) Check it or switch it off before trying again. You might have the page or site address accidentally entered into it. Kinda unlikely you have both pages entered, but...

3) Try Google, as I mentioned earlier. If you can't get the page proper, select "Cached" instead. This may help determine what the hassle is.

It'll all be worth it. The baby pictures from Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles--I did NOT make that up--are so cute you'll need an insulin shot.

Scary thing: I just tested looking it up on Google, and found an older version of the page cached--and noted that Where No Fan Has Gone Before falls WAY down the production schedule: after The Why of Fry and other important episodes, almost to the end of the fourth season. The cast listing included Johnathan Frakes!

Glad it finally worked out.

I like Cubert! He makes a good moving target. Plus, as I've mentioned elsewhere, he's just about the only cast member who Fry can make himself look good against.
