I just got Futurama-o-rama and it is fantastic. It's nice to see the slight twists to the Groening style.
I must have the next one.

I'm just going to buy it at the bookstore. It's cheaper, and you get it the day it comes out.

Decided to resurrect this topic since I have some newish info on the TPB. Just checked Amazon.co.uk, and found that they have the new HarperCollins version of the book (Titan are no longer going to publish it) and have a date of November 1st for it, 2 months later than their earlier September 1st date. Also, they have this synopsis: "Join Fry, Leela and Bender and the rest of the Planet Express crew a thousand years in the far-flung future, in the all-new Futurama Adventures with stories that'll have you laughing today!Follow Fry, Leela, Bender, and the crew of Planet Express as they fend off hostile takeovers, risk life and limb on a no-holds-barred gameshow, protect New New York City from the Santa Robot's annual slay ride, save the world from the fiendish machinations of Robot Devil, confound terminators from an altered future bent on destroying the past, form a superhero team and rid the universe of marauding break dancers, and fight off the effects of ageing with a mind-bending transformation that could spell the end of all they hold dear. This collection of new full-colour comic strips is the official continuation of the ever-to-be repeated TV adventures. Take flight to the future of FUTURAMA and leave the past behind ... today!" The URL for anyone interested/wishing to pre-order from UK. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0007197853/ref=sr_aps_books_1_1/026-52092 45-0802868

The cover art looks good, but it seems a little stretched. I assume Milhouse isn't going to be there in the final version?

Stupid comics. I hadn't checked this thread for a while, and because of the ads, I was still expecting a July release. My local comic book owner had some good advice, though; "When a comic book says the release of another comic is July, it could come out in September, November, or maybe even never."

I think it's still the 1st of September in the US, at least that's what amazon.com says. And I think it's November in the UK still...

The US got the 2005 Calendar earlier too. Doesn't make much difference to me though, seeing as I've already pre-ordered Futurama Adventures from the US... And if it's anything like the 2005 Calendar, it'll ship before it's US release date...

I've been keeping an eye out on Futurama Adventures over the past few weeks (because I pre-ordered it quite some time ago). First Amazon.com had it down for the 1st of September, then it moved to the 7th, and now the 14th. It's been on the 14th for over a week now, which is only a couple of days away at present (Tuesday to be precise), so fingers crossed! I'll let you all know if and when it finally ships...

It's 5 comics (which I own all copies of), an old Cubert section which was in one of those comics and a segment called "Farnsworth builds his dream-house" which is a two page sketch of his dream house. In conclusion: It's what it's expected to be.
