You already said that!
Issue #16 was great. It's a good cliffhanger, but it's bad because I want to see the next part now!!

Just got #16. it's awesome!

@Shady: It's so true that I had to say it twice.  ;)

I LOVE those scenes! Tom King should pencil every issue where Leela gets naked. She just looks so damned cute in them.

init, just read, wicked issue.

#15 made me chuckle quite abit, what with the director going on about how real the film would be with "real" acting.

My favs with the comic series is the cover artwork and (can't remember which issue) the cross section of planet express and all its various underground rooms etc..  I keep thinking of scanning it and enlarging it 'cos it would look pretty cool....

.... so kiss my not-so-shiny metal ass if you don't. ;)

I'm actually a bit glad that issue #17 won't be out for a while. It gives me time to purchase and read issues 14-16.

Good thing about the comics is they can keep Futurama alive until FOX get thier act together and bring it back for a new series or film.

Yeah, 'coz then they can pretend it's a movie based on a comic.

A trilogy of films would be pretty cool.
On topic though, best part in any comic so far is in the issue where Fry gets a cold and infects New new york.

can you quote a comic?

(after Leela gets naked from the virus)

"Fry, keep an eye on Leela"

"I'm trying, I'm trying!!"
 :laff:
Some good moments in this one, especially with the glass steaming up.

Tut tut. Anyone else not like it?

I didn't like it either. The jokes were forced, the storyline was forced, and it was just plain annoying considering that the issue before it was a parody issue too... and it looks like the issue AFTER it will also be a parody issue! ARRHGARH!!!

Issues 4 and 6 are still my favourites though.

i don't like the fact that they never get the colour of the PE ship right. the stories are to singular, they should have a 'b' story happening aswell, like in the show.

i like the fact that they are still making the comic :D. some of the latest issues have been a lot funnier, too.

*Bumpety bump!*
I hope this is the right place to ask this;
Where can I buy US editions of Futurama comics online and get them delivered in the UK? I don't like UK editions because they are big and stinky and I already bought US editions of #5 and #6 from the comic book store. Thank-you kindly.

Favs.:

#3: I actually liked this issue A LOT, esp. the Jay Sherman cameo, the Gremlin-like Newbies, and Amy and her parents playing a big role in the story.

#8: Pretty funny (esp. Fry's "Are you a hooker?" line and the ending with Zoidy becoming president), but why was Leela the Bendernator? Leela's a mutant, not a robot, and is good (very, very, very, very, very, very, very good), not evil.

#9: It was nice seeing a bunch of familiar characters.

#13: Great story.

#16,#17: Pretty good.

Hates: none, really.

Favs.:

The one where Fry and the Professy switch bodies

The one where Bender becomes the Robot Devil

Hates:

#7. It had its moments (good ol' Zoidy and Morbo) but it was so OOC for my beloved Leela that it is at the very bottom of my list of Futurama episodes/comics/video game.

Don't know, never read any. I don't think they are available where I live anyway.
