Hey, just wondering if anyone knows if the UK S4 DVD set is once again region 2 and 4 encoded? I bought S3 from Amazon.co.uk and it arrived in about 4 days! I am really keen to pre-order, but a little nervous as I haven't heard anything about the region encoding and Amazon just says 'R2' as usual.

Any ideas?

Well, i don't think there are any definates, but as all the other DVD sets have been, i'd presume these will be.

The only way to be 100% sure though, is to wait for some R2'ers to confirm it by spotting the Aussie copyright warning.

Hmm, Payndz should be able to do that already, since he has the set by now.

I have all the last 3 sets from britain, and they are all Region2 & Region4, I see no reason for it to change this time around

If you go to this Topic  http://www.peelified.com/cgi-bin/Futurama/15-000396-1/  this is where Payndz posted about the Season 4 DVD, so you can probs ask there.

Puyo Puyo actually - ever heard of it? It's a Japanese puzzle game.

Cait Sith is part of scottish folk lore, too I think. Meant to be giant cats that roam the moors or something...

I believe, although am not entirely certain, that the Aussie and Europe DVDs are manufactured in the same fab plant. To save money, discs are R2 and 4 encoded, and all that changes is the screenprint on the DVD. This would make sense, because each country needs it’s own DVD cover (to display the relevant rating information).

That's very helpful sheep555 but can you please stick to the subject! We're talking about giant Scottish cats!

Well, here you go:
 http://www.isle-of-skye.org.uk/celtic-encyclopaedia/celt_c1b.htm  http://www.scottishbigcats.co.uk/catsith.htm

A folk lore derivative of the Kellas cat, a real breed of cats that live wild in Scotland.

This, I think, is the inspiration for Cait Sith in both the Puyo Puyo series and Final Fantasy. In Puyo Puyo Cait Sith is/are actually a pair of crazy looking cats who make weird cat noises when they lose.

Sheep555 - yeah, I am aware of this, but I would still like definite confirmation before I send my had earned money across the waves to the UK.

So far I have bought S2 and S3 from England and they have worked beautifully.
