Snoo Snoo, these dvd sets are in production order, not airing order.  So all 72 episodes are encompassed in four sets, no five.

Anyways, great set so far.  Deleted scenes are nice and the commentaries are great so far (still a little too jokey at points, but great fun nonetheless).  And everyone should do themselves a favor and check out David X. Cohen's Christmas message.

I haven't really noticed any video errors so far actually.  Might depend on the player.

I notice quite a few video erros on my laptop. maybe it's just my screen/DVD drive. I also noticed these on season 1, as well as a lot of dvds.

other than that, this is great! i've only looked over disc 1 so far, but the deleted scenes are great, the other special features are great, the table reaad for "A tale of two santas" is great. it seems a lot funnier when there's like 10 other people laughing with you. (it took me a while to find the easter egg, since the description on cgef season 3 review is wrong.) as well as the unused opening slogans easter egg.

what does bother me a bit is the packaging. not the artwork, mind you, the artwork is better than season 1 (i don't have season 2).
but the episode titles on the slim dvd cases are weird. some of them are in quotes, "A Leela of Her Own," for example (i dont have the set in front of me at the moment, but i think that's one of them). also, is it "Futurestock" or "Future [space] Stock"? the dvd says it has a space, CGEF says it doesn't. also, Time Keeps on: "Slippin'" or "Slipping"?

but other than that, this set is great and i would recommend it to everyone here! (except you, hedonism bot!)

How do you access the tale of 2 santas intro by DXC....I haven't been able to do it the way you're supposed to do it on region 2 discs.

All help appreciated.....thanks.

The quotes might be when it parodys a title of something else. In "A Leela of Her Own" 's case it's from "A League of Their Own".

Here's an exerpt from some review on amazon.
This show is even funnier than king of the hill. This show has way funnier characters. Zoiberg, Bender, Fry, Zap branigan, Kiff, Hermeys, professor dude, and Lila and there's other characters. This season is really funny too, funnier than the other episodes. This is a definite must if you have the first and second season.
Oh God. I'm surprised he knew the word 'definite.' Heh heh, Lila.

Well... in any of the easter eggs you find for Region 2, press right when it tells you to press left. That confused me too.

future stock was mispelled on the title menu. They spelled it with an H.

Did anyone else have an error during the commentary for IDAR? During the last few minutes of the ep it started skipping and then the screen froze but the audio kept going, still skipping. I wanna know if that happened for anyone else or if i should go back to best buy and exchange for a new one.

The absolute best addition to the Season 3 set is the "Play All" feature.  Seriously.

...Now if only they could make it compatible with DVD players with Disc Repeat options. It always bugs me that the only way to loop all the eps is to individually program the first four chapters of each ep in program mode. Otherwise, I get an error telling me that programmed play of the DVD is prohibited. Any other Sony DVD Player owners out there? Sucks, don't it?

Thank goodness for the 'Play All' feature, definately.  I hate having to go back and forth between menus on the older ones, especially late at night when I want to fall asleep watching it.

Fhuture Stock?
Future Shtock?
Future Stoch?

Also, Disc 1 would be the single greatest disc in all three seasons, if, IF Bendless Love was on Disc 2.  Seriously, my favorite two episodes are on that disc, but as it stands...

Actually, it says Future Stock. Since the titles are in bold, the K looks a little bit like a H if you highlight it. I checked last night and looked closely at the title.

Spacepilot3000 is right, it is a (odd, but correct) K.  One problem that I did find in the packaging was that it said that there was an "Anim Atic" for one episode.  Isn't that supposed to be one word?

I have seen all of the everything by now (finished last night), and this is by far the best DVD set yet. The commentaries are interesting, they seem to keep everyone (the actors) in check for a lot of them, but for a few, they get out of control.

I like that they included the "It is time for you all to ingest sandwiches from my compartment" line. But why was Bender steering with his ass in there? That's season 2.

Yeah, well, I preordered it from Amazon and haven't gotten it yet. I remember when I preordered season 1, it came the day it was released. At this rate, I would have been better just buying the damn thing at a store.

I didn't have any problem accessing the easter eggs, but I did it on my computer, and just moved my mouse over where I thought it should be, and it worked.

TheLampIncident: Perhaps that clip of Bender is on there because it is from McSeason 3 (it's the last of the 2ACVs, no?), and the person responsible for the ad got them confused.

You have to watch the table read first (or at least start it and chapter skip through it) before you can get the other one.

Yeah, I finally got it. It came late in the mail today.

About the table read, I haven't had time to just let it run, but I have this question. For those that have watched it, is it just audio or are there any visual elements to it?

I bought in in Best Buy for $30 the day it came out.  No shipping or anything!

My favorite Zapp and Kif soundbyte on Disc 3 was "As captain of this DVD, I command you to choose an episode or die trying!"

Question: On the disc ... 3? deleted scenes, I noticed that sometimes the actual voice actors' lines would cut out and it would be David X Cohen reading the lines, I think.  Definitely someone else.

I believe it is Cohen.  On the AOI2 Animatic, Leela's voice is done by someone else, presumeably Cohen.

they mention somewhere (one of the commentaries, i think) that for early development stages, if they cant get the actor in for all of their lines, they have "placeholder" voices.
