A Futurama RPG would be pretty nice, so would a fighting game, or a Mario Party style game

Nearly a decade on and I'm still totally obsessed with Final Fantasy 7. Imagine the Futurama Universe in a similar framework... the possibilities are endless... But who would be Fry's Sephiroth? There aren't any truly EVIL villians in Futurama to fill that black cape.

Kings who build their opulent palaces, gardens and mausoleums on the banks of a river of nothingness, will inevitably fall headlong into that nothingness and will be as nothing themselves.
We live in an age of transience. The kings of today will rattle their begging cups on the street tomorrow. And perhaps this is as it should be.

It's that for PS2? I've got a monster PC but nothing else - not even a GameBoy. I may get it and try to run it on the PC. I know, they say it's impossible but guess who played Super Mario Land on the PC? ...Patience and persistence..LEARN, FRY, LEARN!

The question "is it any good?" will have been answered several times over the course of the last eight pages of discussion if you'd taken a moment to skim through.

Nevertheless, I shall humour you - yeah, it's pretty fun. It's just a simple easy platformer with linear levels, but for a fan of the show it isn't something to be passed up.

As mentioned at great length before, I hope for a new Futurama game with more free-roaming exploration aspects as seen in The Simpsons: Hit & Run.

I agree, a futurama style Hit and Run would be great.

Though if there is a new game I hope that it would be more challenging that the existing one which I found to be too easy.

Actually, I would love a new Futurama game with more or less the same format. I cant remember what its called (platform?) but I much prefer going through places systematically rather than just aimless wandering. I played a bit on Grand Theft Auto, and that really annoyed me, cause all I was doing was killing people and picking up girls randomly. Yawn.
Haha.

Yes, indeed. And, because I'm a rather demanding bastard, I'd like there to be some Role Playing elements involved, especially with character interactions. Like selecting responses to questions and such to build or demolish relationships with the rest of the cast.

Haha.

It's not really lilke that - there is a plot and missions and all, but the freedom to take a breather from the story and go sightseeing is really very welcome to most gamers. GTA is geared more toward randomness than other imitators though - have you played The Simpsons Hit & Run?
It's different when everything's comedy-orientated.

I havent, although I have heard some stuff about it (Hit and Run). I guess I just dont like the freedom to go off somewhere randomly (which sounds really really weird). I like particular goals within a game. If there isnt a reward in what I'm doing, then there doesnt seem like much point.I guess I'm just one of those loser gamers. I mean cmon, I like Rayman and dance games and stuff like that *hides behind cushion in embarrassment
Although youre right about the comedy-orientated bit. I wouldnt have been overly that fussed about the Futurama game unless Futurama was involved, I mean, like the story and characters and voices and funny stuff and all.

Yes well the 'freedom' element doesn't necessarily imply aimlessness (though many take great pleasure in exploring the locales or doing stunts in vehicles). What usually happens is there are all kinds of side-missions/races/jobs and hidden extras to be found at one's leisure that don't need to be done in order to finish the story section of the game, but add replay value.

Ahhhh I seee, like minigames and stuff? Oooh I like them! But I dont like finding them, I just like them being there, dunno why, probably cause I'm lazy. Plus cause then if you dont find them you feel stupid when everyone else is talking about them.
I thought you meant aimlessness, which I'm not that fussed about really.

Er... you can still find it in most games stores, likely in the budget bin now.
Alternatively you could always just get it off eBay:
