Many games can switch modes. Metal Gear Solid for example is in 3rd person but has a 1st person "look around" mode.
And as for 2nd person....that's just a bit weird to explain. Wouldn't really work in a game.(I think) I believe 2nd person is when you have a camera view fixed on an NPC or object, and view your player's actions from afar. It wouldn't work in large spaces but in small scenes it would be ok. Duke Nukem Forever is the one that's been delayed for at least 6 years (back from when Duke Nukem 3D was released). MI4 was a great game, and definitely better (IMO, before Teral pounces ) than MI3. MI2 is still the best. Hopefully an MI5 (ba-dum-bum) will surface soon. A Futurama game would be perfect for this type of genre, as most of the TV shows are very plot-driven. (Grim Fandango is my favourite adventure game at the moment. It's so...atmostpheric .)

If they could make a Futurama sort of like Goldeney (James Bond) where you have multi-player and single player modes that'd be awesome! Sadly though I don't have the new gamming STUFF like PS2...damnit I want PS2 so bad!

Anyone who didn't like the original must not have a weird bone in their body! I hadn't heard that, actually. I loved the original (and Day of the Tentacle). Looking forward to that now . LucasArts make really good adventure games (most of the time), they just seem to have hit a slump in terms of the number of releases recently. Put it this way - a new GTA is usually released on PS2 (grrr) every October. There'll be one this October (in the vein of Vice City), but none next year. Apparently the next GTA after that(i.e. GTA4 - Vice City is not GTA4 ) will be for the next gen console(s).

Too bad you can't see the screenshots without signing up.
J. Stewart Burns wrote the script? I thought David was the writer on the game. That's not a bad thing though, Burns has written some very cool episodes, including some of my favorites.
This all sounds like a cool game, that will be completely integrated in the Futurama universe.
Hmmm, MicroSoft did just knock another 50€ of the price of the X-box. Maybe one could..... No, must not get sucked in.

I was doubtful before but having read the description and seen the screenshots it looks like it could be really good. Any chance of a PC release?

This really does look like a cool game; I was expecting a minldess "beat 'em up" disappointment when I first heard about it. Getting a console is out of the question, but I'll get a copy to run on my PC... one way or another.

Strat Welcome to PEEL, I like the way u think, some thing like Kings Quest 7 could be hand drawn animation and it would be like playing an ep of the show! What great young minds we have joining PEEL!

Quotes from the latest PSM2 over here in Blighty: Mixed news, everyone - while Futurama's shaping up as one of the best game licences ever, the universal appeal may be hampered by some niggling gameplay issues, Don't panic - this is in a different league to EA's diabolical Simpsons Skateboarding, but unless developers address some - rectifiable - camera issues, the platform action may enchant and infuriate in equal measure. and... Dan D came back from the Swedish developers with a face permanently glued into a Jack Nicholson Joker girn. 'It's like playing an episode - a full episode!' he gushed for a whole morning. The humour is definately there - the cut-scene when Farnsworth explains how you come back to life is hilarious. There are camera issues though, which do need to be sorted out if the game'll be worth buying.
