Okay, I finally watched most of the episodes on YouTube. I've been a semi fan ever since I caught Jungle on BBC 3 at 1AM. BBC 3 aired them once a week and until recently, I didn't catch the rest.

Ever since, the surreal feel of the Boosh has had me enchanced. So many awesome characters (Like The Hitcher and Old Gregg!)

So crack open a fresh Baileys and let us discuss this fine cult television program.

Has anyone been to a live show? what is it like?

Anyone who doesn't love The Boosh doesn't have a soul.

Favourite episode, The Priest & The Beast from Series 2.  Anything with Rudi ("I go by many names...." ) is total class, like Jungle from S1.

The "Tundra" song is a ringtone on my phone.

Ice flow, nowhere to go
Ice flow, nowhere to go
Lost in the blinding whiteness of the Tundraaaaaaa!

Watch out!  Howard'll put a move on you!

Ah yes, Rudi is awesome.
Put away those fiery biscuits!

My personal favourite episode is Old Gregg.

Best line of both series combined.  Hands. Down.

Old Gregg is a close second, definately.  Although, I do have a soft spot for Milky Joe.

On another note, I was personally glad to see the back of Bob Fossil.  If you listen to the commentaries on the DVDs, you can't get through more than one episode at a time without being utterly annoyed by Rich Fulcher.  The guy is clearly crazy.

I haven't got the live DVD yet, but I'm gonna.

But didn't Rich have the odd minor character in the 2nd series?

Bob Fossil is quite annoying sometimes. Unless Bambridge is nearby to do a duet.

Yeah, Rich was in almost every episode.

You should've seen the pilot with Richard Ayoade playing Dixon Bainbridge - he couldn't play Bainbridge in the series because he was contracted to Channel 4.  He did appear in Nanageddon though.

Two best Bob Fossil moments:

1) And that's why I don't like cricket...

2) Turn around! Bright eyes!

Hehe, the bit with the mug cracked me up in Bollo.

Also, curse the Cockney Hitcher and his polo! I catch myself randomly quoting him for no damn reason sometimes.

Most of Noel Fielding's characters (except Rudi, of course) have the most quotable lines.  Like Tony Harrison:

It's an outrage!

The Cockney Hitcher is always good for a laugh, his return in The Fountain Of Youth is fabby too.

Indeed it is. I remember watching Jungle, the 1st series had quite a limited budget compared to the 2nd.

I was very confused, I caught it five minutes into the show which is bad enough with any program. Anyone notice the facination with Polo mints?

Tony Harrison wasn't prepared for The Crunch! he did not know how to deal with The Crunch! He was a fool who was not prepared for The Crunch!

The facination with Polos is never explained, which is why it's such genius.

Nixorbo should watch "Jungle", I watched it last week, and immediately thought of him (Übermod on the mods magazine).  He is, after all King Of The Mods....

I'm hoping for a 3rd TV series myself. I want to see that Old Gregg thing resolved even if continuality isn't favoured in the TV show more or less. Also, I would love to see a TV confrontation between Rudi and The Hitcher like in the live shows.

I snicker everytime Bollo drops that certain Star Wars quote too.

Just for you Nurdy, have some Noel Fielding standup, just to see how random the guy really is:

It's an eye-war...

Haha. I know a mate who seems to be somehow channeling Noel down here.

Hmm, how much is the soundtrack for the TV series? some brillaintly made music I must have.

Ah, if you were closer, I'd bluetooth you the Tundra Rap.

Julian Barratt is mostly responsible for the music on the show.  An excellent guitarist.

Feel the power of my fusion-lick!

Nurdy, you ever seen Nathan Barley?

Features Barratt and Fielding in major roles (Julian Barratt is one of the two central characters).  Plus Nicholas Burns, who plays the King of Xooberon in The Fountain Of Youth, he is Nathan Barley.

I love the chosen one!
Loving him is so much fun!
&c.!

But seriously. The Mighty Boosh has ruined my life. I get whole hour spells where all I can say is "Topshop!" and point at things. I actually walked around said retailer doing that once and people thought I was mad. The worst thing is that I can't control it. Oh woe is me.  :(

Eh, I know the feeling there Cats. Just quote The Hitcher with good old 'You love it, you slags!'.

Also, I tried making our cockney he-witch in City of Villains. I was doing great until I got to the bit with hats. Game Artists are too damn lazy to skin more than one type of hair with hats.

I abandoned the effort.

The Mighty Boosh is awesome, I think my favourite character is probably the Spirit of Jazz. Coincidently the episode he appears in is probably my favourite as well.

"I'm gonna creep inside you like a warm kitten!" Class.

I wonder if we'll see the Zooniverse Return in the 3rd series?

Also, I just remembered Howards Funeral in Bollo. The most pathethic fictional funeral ever.

Just got the live show DVD, it's fab!  Outrageous, yeah.  Best heckle ever:

Audience member:  Who are ya?!
Noel: Are you possessed?  By a twat?

The girls from "Electro" are a band, Robots In Disguise.  They were touring when the Boosh were touring and Robots gig were Boosh aftershow parties.  Anyhoo, they rock:
