I used to watch Lost but not anymore as its like so full of action at any given minute that I find it quite intollerable to watch I mean how unlucky can the inhabitants get: They are stranded on an island, they figure out it was a plan or something with a machine running the island   :p, other islanders want to kill them.... lol the list goes on.......

The writers don't have the balls to make Jack turn fully bad - despite the fact that it'd be an awesome plot development. Sure, he'd redeem himself in the season finale and all that junk, but for a while it'd be touch and go...

That guy (his name escapes me now) that Jack was playing ball with was becoming a really really friendly guy recently. It's only natural that Jack would befriend him, since he has to live with them. It has nothing to do with Jack being good or bad, it just has to do with how shocked Kate and the others were to see Jack enjoying himself while in captivity. At least, that's how I saw it.

i liked that episode. claire's backstory is good but the whole jack/claire siblings thing has been called for a while now.. still, i was amused that the writers did actually use it and it wasn't just a rumor/myth/wishful thinking. excited for next week's episode.. oh and ouch for that russian dude.
