Well here is the third part I got ahead of Leelaholic and posted it first. (unless he posted it while I was typing this.)
Well the next episode in the U.S isn't on until the 18th April(My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and the nex in the U.K is on the 11th (Diatribe of a mad housewife) As for the aussies well I dont care about you. (Please dont take offence that was a joke) So its a while until the episodes air so I think maybe we should start the thread with the obligatory flaming. Or we could go with the other option and not do that. Its your choice gentlemen. and the ladies I guess.

Stop reading if this was mentioned in the last thread:
So the voice talents are holding out for new contracts. I don't have the link handy, though. Anyway, don't cave, Fox! Don't cave, voice talent!

If this is true, don't they get paid enough for each episode by now anyway? Also, does this in any way effect the movie?...

It doesn't affect the movie no, that still going to be produced. I think what they ask is too much but some raise is justified its happend before where they demanded a raise and got what they wanted after season 9 I think, they were criminally underpaid in the old days I think. I'm confused though because it had been said that eveyrone had signed on to season 16, so I'd have thought demanding this raise now would be a breach of contract. But anyway I'm sure it'll get settled.

I'm not sure, I don't pay much attention to the credits. Checking out www.snpp.com though, I haven't seen any episodes past Season 11 (that's the one the BBC is running now).

Speaking as a lady, my view on the voice artists:
The voice-over community isn't the richest bunch of actors, especially those who make a living only out of cartoon and commercial voice-overs. Because this community is small, I believe that the actors who are apart of it should be paid much more than they get now, because a great talent is hard to get. In my opinion, all of the actors who work for the show are teriffic, and should be paid for their work. And, as Shadowstar said, people who work in live action are paid in the million dollar range for their work, so it's only fair that voice artists earn at least half of that.

Who is this Al? he has the right idea about season 15 tho I have completely lost track of the simpsons in the last few years and generally only watch the repeats that they play here at 6 every evening, not just because I hate the new ones, but I am always busy with my life when they are on.

Those prices are ridiculous indeed. All those millions simply going to the voice actors... poor Futurama...
Also, I wonder how much Dan got for voicing the Robot Devil?...

It would really be shame for the show to stop due to voice actors quitting when the show is on such an upwards curve. Yes voice actors desrve more, but I dont think the live action argument works, because you have to be on camera, you have to work on facial expressions and body movement. (Although you could say voice actors do this as well to really get into the role, its still not the same) You also have to put up with SlackJawedMoron(s) starring at you in the street. Althoug some of the more diehard fans would recognise them however.

Well, some individual episodes are like that, but I think that as a whole season 15 is the best that we've seen in a while.

I still hold hope that the entire cast will quit in disgust, leaving (and thereby ending) the show for good... but knowing Fox they'd simply hire new actors who can perform passible imitations of character's voices... riding the cash cow, kicking and snorting, into the hazy, glum sunset... NONE OF THAT HAS ANY CHANCE OF HAPPENING. The voice actors clearly still take pride in voicing their characters and still seem to enjoy it quite a bit. Considering they already make a ton of money off the show and consider it a "dream job", they aren't about to quit. They are simply asking for more money because they can. I'm sure they have every intention of coming back to the show as soon as it is resolved, and it WILL be resolved. They are just trying to make a more proportional amount of money off of a show that makes billions of dollars. Most of us would do the same in that position, no matter how much we happened to love working on it Edit: And Grim, "Al" is a reference to a joke this season. In this year's Christmas show, there's a bit where Homer is watching "A Christmas Carol" (as told through a "Mr. Magroo" cartoon) and makes the connection between Scrooge and his own behavior. At one point the ghost of Christmas future shows Scrooge/Magroo his tombstone, which says "unloved by All", but Homer misreads it as "Unloved by Al" and screams "Noooo!" (then does the same thing when the ghost points out the extra "L" ). Oh, and you probably shouldn't say season 15 is bad if you haven't even been watching any of it.
