Well, we never seem to have a problem with the one thread and it's not like it's being flooded with messages and needs re-creating every few days. Wasn't it a strict "No games" policy before, and we decided we'd have one gaming thread and leave it at that?

Its not like we need a new thread every week, im just saying it'd be MUCH better having threads on individual systems and games, not cramming all that info and screens and such into one tiny thread. I agree totally with Bender Waffles and Zeep.

Well actually it has only one, It's got a TV. All boards have an off topic forum, and the rest are Futurama discussion only or your thread gets closed. My point is, you could divide up the stuff that is talked about in off topic endlessly, but then it wouldn't be a Futurama forum would it?

I would rather have a music thread before a gaming thread. There are far more music artists than television shows, and most people listen to music more than they watch TV. There are many music threads that get closed in offtopic. Plus, a general music thread is just too general to work. I bet if the TV board was mushed into one thread it would have far less posts. There are too many different artists and genres that you just get stuck on one topic in the music thread and it stays that way.

And there's an average of 3 posts per board and 12 members.But adding one or two more boards wouldn't make people leave or make it be like that one. Though this is a Futurama board, I've grown accustomed to discussing things with the PEELers. I don't want to join some music or gaming board, I want to talk about my interests with other Futurama fans who share that interest.

I totally agree. When you share a common interest It's very likely you'll share others and It'd be great if there was a place for that hear. I'm not a gamer but I can understand people people would want that and I'd love to see a place for music here.

I'm not quite sure what the problem is - we have several music threads. The "general" music one, the "I play in a band" one, the "best lyrics" one, the "worst lyrics" one, and probably several more.

i just think that video games are too broad a topic for one thread. i dont know about music, it probably wouldn't hurt to have it's own board. maybe there could be a school board for homework help, and general ranting about school (ie, the "I hate school" thread)i know video games is al least as broad a topic as TV and movies, and that's got its own board, so why not a gaming board? or could you include games in the TV thread, since they're almost the same thing.

In the general music thread, it switches from one topic to another to quick. There could be an interesting discussion about a band, then bam, someone starts talking about rap and the other topic is forgotten about. ti's the same for the game thread. if i want to talk about a specific topic, i end up completely changing the course of discussion, because everyone is talking about something else. if there was a gaming board, we could have a thread for any system, any game, anything else... but now we have one thread for any system, any game, anything else.

I like and find PEEL unique in that unlike masy other boards, the amount of forums is low, and that works really well, in that everyone posts one topic to a thread. (In theory, but sometimes in practice that is not the case). I could see a Music forum being a good addition, seeing as TV has it's own. But it has to be controlled. It's a similar case with games... you can finally have a thread for each game... But then that may get tedious. The TV board should be expanded to include movies.

the tv thread DOES include movies. and a games board would be no more tedious than a music board. however, it WOULD be a good idea to expand the tv thread to include games. ------------------

An idea: I think the search feature should have an option to search all forums, not just a specific one. It shouldn't be too hard to implement, and it would save going through every board with the same search when you can't remember what one the thread or post was in. It's really the only thing missing from it.------------------

I wished there had been an option to select "Bot"
rather than Male or Female in the Gender catagory.

Personally, I think that part should be left in, as it says that we haven't given up yet. If we take that out, it will look like we have lost hope about our favorite show coming back on.

Because she didn't want a rank, and since [-mArc-] is her boyfriend, she pretty much gets whatever she wants (on PEEL, anyway).If edel had a rank, she'd be a bending unit.

It's caused by VF deleting a huge amount of spam in the Complaints thread. While her post oiginally was on the 18th page deleting the spam moved it to page 17. The "Last post" link on the forum mainpage still points to the post on page 18 and hence you're led to a non-exsistent page/post.
